So, linda72 got my pulse rate up when I unwittingly opened her other thread first lmao. Welcome back Linda! diva49 prayers sent for your friend. Thank you for kicking us off and your new picture is lovely, you both always looks so happy and content, I just love your pics. cherryt38 nice to see you and I hope you can get your garden going soon! So today's funny story about the zoo. Was trying to make sure the kitties that weren't feeling well had separate plates to eat undisturbed. So when Luigi came running up to Mario's plate I bent over and picked him up, and whoosh that disc went sliding right out its happy location in my lower spine. Weirdest feeling ever. So kids help me to heating pad, where I am content to sit and not move even an inch. Fast forward a few hours where Mom texts that the puppy had chewed through her home phone line (the base unit for all the other phones) so all her phones are out. And she updated her iPhone (I always tell her to let me do the updates since they always lock themselves out) and had again locked it. So of course she says "don't worry about us we will be fine, just wanted you to know in case you tried to call" so the only working phone they have is my dads cell which he can't find most of the time. Needless to say hopped in car, went over and fixed everything. Good news is kitties are all doing better! Ohhhmmmm. Seriously just one of those days you laugh at 🤣 Have a great day everyone!

Thanks for the heads up Linda. I'd rather see myself naked than see a picture of a snake. I surely won't be opening that thread!
Neen, thought of you this morning. I was in Marshalls,& they had Havaianas flip flops, the only kind I can wear. I was only able to get 2 pair because they mostly had larger sizes (only my feet & hands are small these days).
Dina, dinner at a winery sounds like it's right up my alley. Enjoy.
Diva, hope your friend is ok.
Quite cool out today but brilliant sunshine & I love the sun out. Things are starting to bud, I just love this time of year when everything is so new & fresh. I think it's colder in the house than it is outside.
Trying to stay on the good but I am having a tough time controlling my sugar intake. I guess I'll just have to go cold turkey.🍪 I got a cantaloupe today so I hope when it ripens it's sweet. That will help somewhat.
Have a great day everyone.

Oh no DebDoesWW I'm hoping you don't have any back or disc issues! Be careful! I'm glad to hear that the cats are ok and you got your parents' phones working.

Praying MJ. WI this morning again featured the bouncing scale. Thinking although all has been tracked and accounted for but the sodium in in the ham could have been the issue. Drinking lots of liquids and keeping hydrated.

Well, Deb, your story did make me laugh because—what else is there to do, cry? We've had enough water from rain!
It's been so mamy years since I dealt with a puppy that I forgot how destructive (and cute) they can be.
My cat was a cord chewer from when she was a kitten. I think she's outgrown it, finally, in her old age. But I spend many dollars replacing cords. And she wouldn't chew just any cord—on, no—she knew the difference between high voltage and low voltage and only chewed through the ones that weren't going to electrocute her.
