Jan - I am sending you so much loving, positive, calming energy in prep for Monday. I keep hearing your mantra about parking your mind in a peaceful space! Love it!
Sally - stay cool! I hope you find more fun activities to bring you joy. Pickleball sounds like fun...my fav. WW coach loves it. Enjoy big screen movie, if you go.
Janet - enjoy your cooler weather. We are having a couple of cooler 65-70Β° days now (although rainy) which is a relief from the steambath of the last few days.
I've had to change up my schedule for walks lately to find times it wasn't hot and also wasn't threatening a downpour. I'm also adjusting to getting back to in-person lessons and meetings, I just enjoyed my first group gathering on Wednesday, the annual picnic for the computer club. Last year's was cancelled of course. We used to have it in a shelter in a local park but this year, with fewer people attending, a member volunteered to have it at his home which has an in-ground pool. It was so nice to be able to relax and float in the pool for awhile, just chatting with people, yay. I did bring my usual healthy salad but also ate too much volume of other foods (maybe not as much as I COULD have......) so weigh in was up a tad as a result.
My leg pain seems to have mostly subsided, though I'm still taking a break from ballroom. I did try Tap class zoom again (still holding onto a chair for support) and that went pretty well. We have two weeks off while teacher is on vacay, so I will try to practice some....we'll see, LOL! We may be in-person in Sept. There'll be no hiding then, LOL!
Yes I DID:
--meet my step goals (or really close to it!) the last few of days, despite being busy.
--only gain 0.3# after the picnic indulgences, LOL
--get some better sleep recently. Still needing to wind down a little earlier, oh well!
Yes I CAN:
--stay focused, maybe get some indoor stuff done seeing as how it's rain, rain, raining this weekend.
