Happy Monday, Another 100 degree day. Early walk done then body pump. I did chores, made another mask and, exciting part of the day, we had our fingerprints done for the new visa. In 30 days we can pick up the card. Then we can travel at will.
I hope everyone is happy. Debbie

Hello,
Thanks for the start, Debbie. 100+ degrees...eek. I am glad it has cooled down a bit here, although the humidity is still around. Good news on the visa happening fairly soon.
Lou, sorry that I missed you again. If you left Louisville and stopped in Corydon, I certainly understand why you kept on driving. Best wishes and positive new job vibes going to Cecilia. I also enjoy seeing your travel photos.
Today was a jam packed work day and it pretty much flew by. It was a quiet weekend, I got lost in a book yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed that.
Waving hi to Brenda, Vicki and Lori. Hope you all are getting a good start to the week.
Take care, Ginia

Good morning
Debbie, thanks for our weekly start. Wow that is hot!
Virginia, what book were you reading?
Lou, I need to check out those pictures. Hope you had a good trip.
Waving to Vicki and Lori
I ended up not really doing the Denise Austin workouts. I was so totally stressed. Things are getting better so I will get back at it

Happy Tuesday, Virginia- yes, what book? I’m so glad it is cooler, now. Brenda - why are you stressed? I hope the feeling goes away. Working out is my stress reducer.
Today is wonderful girls beach day. The temperature is so much cooler, the beach was windy with great waves for fun swimming. There normally are not waves so I really enjoyed it. Just the best day. Debbie

Good morning and greetings from Chester, Arkansas. We got here on Sunday and will be moving on to Dallas today; or maybe plow straight through to Austin if we feel like knocking out 500 miles.

Hello,
Happy Tuesday, all. Thanks for starting us today, Brenda. It's good to see you. I hope that your stress level is getting lower...hugs to you, and I hope all is well.
Debbie, I'm glad that the weather is making for enjoyable beach days.
Lou, those are great pictures. Is the second picture the inside of a yurt? Safe travels. I would be inclined to push on to Austin if traffic isn't too crazy to deal with.
The book I just finished is "The Shadow Box" by Luanne Rice. I read "Last Day" by the same author last year. If you like suspense, you might also enjoy them.
Today was work and HM training afterward, followed by a grocery run. I need to really knock out my to-do list the next two days. I'm off starting on Friday through next Wednesday. I am looking forward to the days off and have started my list of things to do.
Waving hi to Vicki and Lori. Hope you are both doing well.
Take care, Ginia

Good morning and greetings from Oklahoma City. Cecilia really liked it here on the way through, so we dropped Dallas and came back through this way.

Hello,
Happy Wednesday evening.
Lou, that sculpture is way cool. Enjoy the rest of the trip back home. Sending vibes for calm traffic to you.
Work was fairly steady. No new developments with the 50% of the team waiting to learn whether it’s a yea or nay with the outsourcing company. I met PT at the gym after work, and it’s been a quiet evening at home since then.
Waving hi to Debbie, Brenda, Vicki and Lori.
Take care, Ginia

Happy Thursday, Louis - very cool yurt! Your trip looks amazing. You must be back home now. Virginia - thanks for the book title, I am always looking for a new book. I am so glad the weather cooled down a little.
My Uncle Jack in Kentucky is 101 and the latest picture I’ve seen has me worried. I am hoping to see him in October but I might be to late. This is the first time he has looked his age. I have loaded my player with lots of music and the early walks are so enjoyable. I talked to both kids yesterday, they are doing well. My DD is very excited about your upcoming trip here.I am so excited to have a visitor. Spain needs to get the 20-30 year olds vaccinated, the Covid cases here have gone up so much. It just never ends. Debbie

Good morning. It does seem like age comes on suddenly, Debbie. My parents have both definitely lost a step since we saw them last July. We made it back to Austin last night after a stopover in Plano, TX - about a half hour east of Dallas.

Hello,
Happy Friday to all.
Brenda, my HM is on 10/2 in Evansville. I have another in-person HM in Owensboro, KY on 11/13. No other ones planned for this year as of now. I did a virtual HM in May. I was never much of a fan of virtual races and that hasn't changed. It was a necessary evil for most of 2020 though.
Debbie, it will be so good for you and DD and DSIL to be together in Valencia. Thank you, I am also liking my step counts and being able to get outdoors and walk with friends is always a boost to my spirits. I hope that your Uncle Jack stays strong and well. What a long life!
Lou, the Plano pictures are great. I only ever think of Plano as an industrial/business hub. It's very nice to see a different view of it.
My weekend plans are to get my HM training in. We are at 4ish miles tomorrow and it is a hilly route. I hope the lightning stays away and that we don't get drenched. I was able to get several errands done today. I'm off work until next Thursday. I was able to get my work to-dos mostly done. Today I got a haircut, went to the jeweler to get my wedding set dropped off for repair, tried a new place for lunch and spent the last of our work's community partner fund on 400+ composition books for the elementary school we have partnered with for 20+ years. That is ending with the outsourcing. I plan to stay involved with the school on my own time.
Waving hi to Vicki and Lori.
I am going to go unload the composition books from my car, as I cannot deliver them to the school for another two weeks or so. That will get a few more steps logged for the day for sure.
Take care, Ginia

Happy Saturday, Virginia - I’m so glad you have a couple HM on your schedule. My wedding ring needs repair also, you are motivating me to take it in. The language barrier makes it so easy to not do things sometimes and there aren’t many people here that wear diamonds.
This morning my walk took me to the street market and I picked up the elastic I need to finish the dress I’m making. It is really yucky out, in the 80’s but so humid. I just returned from buying a new phone. I have a new phone , huawei brand, the brand has a great camera, I loved my old one but on the new one I can’t get any google play apps. Nothing. I got around not having google maps but have now realized there are so many app that I need that I cannot get. So I have had the phone two long to return it. So now I have to set up a new phone .
Happy weekend everyone, Debbie
