I think from the patents it's pretty clear they are going with ratings based on "healthfulness data", in other words they will be ranking foods.

The bottom of 31 is where it actually starts talking about the specific groups they break things down to and how they rank.
For example, look up this patent from 2013 that was actually filed in 2008:

Talks about ranking foods as to healthfulness and color coding.
So, when they talk about this is the current patent they are referring back to stuff that has been in patents for many years!
Now, is it possible that this year they would decide to rank foods using color coding? Sure. They obviously have worked on it for a very long time. So, it could be something that they have had in mind to do. And, this year, they could decide to do it.
Literally every year, I've wondered if this is the year they will do that. And, every year, they have not done it. So, we'll see in less than month. I do think that some of the third party people hyping that possibility are not aware that this is not something new in the patents though. Lots of people put out posts or videos about the "new" program and they either haven't looked at prior patents or they just speculate based upon public stuff from the earnings calls.
