Good morning friends. Slept well and grateful. yeah to all the cleaning out Pam. I am very familiar with Omaha Steaks. Delicious That was so very generous of them to gift them to you. LOL Judy I also tossed all my nail polish quite awhile back. I'll gladly spend the $$$ rather than have a bloody mess.
Today we are hosting a cookout (or in depending on weather) for a couple that just came back from a 3 week vacation in Hawaii and they are 'bearing gifts' Serving baby back ribs smoked chicken coleslaw and a lemon pound cake for dessert. Rose is bringing a cold broccoli salad. I also have some baked beans that I'll 'put out there'. Should it rain, so long as there is not wind we'll be able to eat in the screen room. Time will tell. Our grills are under the carport and the smaller ones are in the screen room so the cooking out is never a problem year round.
I shall most definitely be pressing that reset button come Monday...as Sunday shall also be 'pasta day' here. Have to stick with tradition LOL.
Waving and wishing all a wonderful Saturday.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~ Happy Saturday! I have to remind myself what day it is Slept well indeed except for a very vivid dream early this morning, and then ended up sleeping in almost an extra hour. But we didn't have anything going on, so it's all good. I had a Premier Protein shake for breakfast and will probably skip lunch. We are going to a Grad Party about 2 and I will eat there. Last night was great! My VBF and I both had the lasagna. This restaurant is not using menus (yet) but you have to scan the QR code on your phone and read it that way. Her DH had it up and ready and handed it to me when I sat down. To think I could make sense of it would be a stretch indeed! The menu is wider than the phone app, plus part of it is speckled with Italian phrases, so I just gave up. VBF and I usually have the lasagna there, so I just ordered it and called it done. My DH was able to make a bit of sense out of it, and ordered a penne pasta with meatballs and Italian sausage and baked cheese. We both brought half home, so we figured it will be a supper one night. To really make it a decadent night, we all ordered Lava Cake with ice cream and pigged out on that! So far this morning I have stretched, etc., and then walked 30 minutes (which made a world of difference for my back). Still tender and sore-feeling, but definitely on the mend. The sun has finally come out and it is beautiful outside at 71 dg. I am so glad we aren't getting the predicted rain, as the Grad Party today is outdoors (under a tent). When I got back from walking, I tackled the patio flower pots and got them all trimmed up good (again) and fed/watered. They were pretty wet from all the rain yesterday, but I thought they needed a bit of Miracle-Gro. Now they're freshened up and the patio looks great!! VBF and I had made a date to WI on Tuesday, but last night we looked again and her doctor's appointment was rescheduled, so we can wait and WI on Friday instead. That will give us both a few extra days to work off the weekend indulgences <LOL> Ann ~ How great that you can cook-out year-round. I have other friends who do that too, and swear by it. It wouldn't work for us with our configuration, and consequently a few years after we bought the fancy grill, DH lost interest and I never did master cooking with gas. I was always a charcoal gal (in years past) so our grill now is sitting in a corner of our garage and I am trying to find it a good home. Enjoy your cook-out tonight!! Your menu sounds delightful!! I have not yet thrown away all my nail polish, but it's getting close. When I used to have acrylic nails I had accrued quite a collection of polishes, but they're getting old, and I don't do my fingernails anymore (since the pandemic). I have one small jar that I only use on my toes because it's quite opaque and shiny, so as I'm reading about you and Judy pitching your polishes I'm thinking it's about time for me. Judy ~ You guys are certainly energetic with your pantry cleaning! I did that this time last year when I was stuck at home anyway. Cleaned the upstairs pantry and re-organized it, then the downstairs one. I also pitched most of my plasticware and ordered a complete new set of Rubbermaid and reorganized that cupboard. Then I tackled the spice cabinet and that was the first time in forever!! Good Job!! Pam ~ You really outdid yourself!! I had to take a deep breath just reading what all you did! Your DD will be amazed at how much you have already accomplished. I do hope you got that much sought after good night's sleep! I hate when I'm restless and then pay for it the next day! Take care of yourself. I am going to go read a little bit. Laundry is all caught up and nothing on my to-do list today except for going to the store for a couple of things. I may just do that right now, then come back and made a broccoli salad (I need to buy feta cheese). BBL. Make a great day!!

Mission accomplished - but not without visiting two stores. I had a short list of things I wanted, but wouldn't you know? Meijer was out of several of them. The two I really NEEDED were diced red onion (for Mango salad) and RF Feta cheese (for broccoli salad). Both shelves were totally empty!! I did check on my Fage yogurt and they were low, so I grabbed an extra carton. I also snagged some LF cottage cheese and NSA sliced peaches. That at least gives us some side dishes. Then I went to Kroger down the street and they had both my onions and feta, so all is well in my world again. I brought home some hot dog and hamburger buns for the freezer (as I have meats grilled and frozen). If we need a little something tonight, we can easily put something together. But we plan to eat at the party and be all set.
We are just about ready to go, and I am looking forward to seeing some of my co-workers!!

Hey all,
We are on our way to the Cape now since there were showings this afternoon. We have 3 more tomorrow too. Redfin has labeled our house as a Hot House and likely to sell fast so I’m going with that assessment! Lol
We stopped at DQ for a burger on the way. Not exactly WW friendly but the best we can do for now.
Ann, have fun tonight hosting your delicious meal!!! What time’s dinner? 😂
Sue, have fun at the grad party and I hope the weather holds up. A tent is smart! Your Italian dinner sounded great and the dessert scrumptious.
Waving to Pam! I’ll bbl.

Sue sounds like your meal at the Italian restaurant was over the top delicious. MMM to the lava cake. So happy you ordered that and enjoyed. Win win on both taking half home to enjoy at a later time. LOL to 'working off' the indulgences Smart thinkin' Yes we are fortunate to have all grills set up to be used year round. Carl loves doing it so there is never a problem there. Left to my own devices I'd use the GF grille and be done with it Happy you were finally able to get all you need in the grocery department. It's amazing the things that they run out of! Last week it took Carl three markets to finally score his A&W Root Beer. Lord only knows why!!! Enjoy the graduation party! Judy safe travels to the Cape and I pray that your home goes quickly. I have a feeling that it is going to. We had a wonderful time with our friends. The conversation was very light and upbeat and the food was over the top delicious. We sent them home with leftovers. They gifted us kona coffee chocolate covered macadamia nuts and a small box of assorted chocolates from Hawaii. I took one piece of chocolate LOL...very good and rich. The coffee was awesome. Just as I remembered it to be. Our weather held out so we were able to eat in the screen room. We did end up having coffee and cake indoors as our neighbor chains her dog in the yard and she was yapping away. We simply took the coffee and enjoyed it indoors. No big deal. Luckily I took Benjamin out to do his thing while Ed and Rose were still there. Once I got home and they left the sky opened up and it's pouring complete with thunder and lightening. Will this 'weather' ever end? ? I am jammified and going to relax with a glass of sparking water. Sweet dreams all.....Pam you and DH continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
