Thanks, Ann. GEORGETOWN is on Prime, but you have to pay for it. I'd like to see it. I would see any of the major actors in anything. Christoph Waltz is the star (also directed it). I liked him in INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and DJANGO UNCHAINED.

GEORGETOWN was good. Christoph Waltz is good as a totally smarmy character. All of the acting is. Based on a true story.

Gail, I finally signed up for my free Apple TV, which I thought was 6 months. It is actually 1 yr free. I watched 1 episode of TED LASSO and 1 episode of THE MORNING SHOW. Both are interesting in a different way.

I really like Professor T. He has OCD and also talks to his fish. He is a trip. Goes his own way which is usually the right way in long run.

DH was working on a photography project last night so I watched The Last Letter from Your Lover on Netflix last night. It was a good film for me to watch while knitting....not too deep and well acted, dramatic love story.
The Last Letter from Your Lover is a 2021 British romantic drama film directed by Augustine Frizzell and written by Nick Payne and Esta Spalding, based on Jojo Moyes' 2012 novel of the same name. It stars Felicity Jones, Callum Turner, Joe Alwyn, Nabhaan Rizwan and Shailene Woodley. Wikipedia

Not a movie, but the PBS 4 part MYSTERIES OF MENTAL ILLNESS was so fascinating. I don't think it's available any more but if it shows up again, I recommend it highly. History of understanding and treatment of mental illness. Be glad you are living now. However, there is still such a lack of treatment, and when there is something, many cannot afford it.

Ann, Thanks for the review of LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER. I love Jo Jo Moyes stories so I am sure I will like this even though I have not read this book.

LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER was good. In the beginning Mike and I found the English dialects a little hard to follow but we got used to it.
We finished Season 7 of BOSCH. There will be no season 8 but there will be a spinoff. If you watch it and you see the last episode you will understand, but I don't want to spoil it for you. As crime dramas go it was a good show and the acting was top notch.

The series on Mental Illness sounds good, Lani. I am going to Chautauqua NY in a couple of weeks and the focus is the brain. There will be a week of discussions and one day there will be a panel discussion about the treatment of mental illness. The facilitator of the discussion lost his son to mental illness. I'll see if I can get that series.
And I watched LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER as well. A sweet film.

The woman who leads the wonderful film classes I have attended from MA is running another. She asked me to work with her again and I am thrilled. This time we will be looking at winners from the Cannes Film Festival over the years. The participants want to see more films from other countries. Sounds great to me! I am familiar with many of them but have not even heard of others. New learning ahead. Doing a happy dance!

Tonight we saw THE ICE ROAD starring Liam Neeson. An exciting action/thriller for sure!
After a remote diamond mine collapses in the far northern regions of Canada, an ice driver leads an implausible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the lives of trapped miners despite thawing waters and a threat they never see coming.

Darn, I cannot find a good movie anywhere!!! Connie, I feel your pain. Last night we watched HOME AGAIN on Netflix (2017). I was hopeful because it had Candice Bergen and Reese Witherspoon. It was lame, so I do not recommend. Recently separated from her husband, Alice Kinney decides to start over by moving back to Los Angeles with her two daughters. While celebrating her 40th birthday, Alice meets Harry, George and Teddy, three young filmmakers who need a place to live. Complications soon arise when she agrees to let the men stay in her guesthouse temporarily. As Alice develops a budding romance with Harry, her newfound happiness comes crashing down when her ex shows up with a suitcase in his hand.

Darn, I cannot find a good movie anywhere!!! This is why I watch so many old movies. I will check out the new DUNE on HBO Max when it comes available. I read the book in high school, the perfect time for that one. And has stood up to repeated rereadings. I looked around online and here are a few that caught my eye: REMINISCENCE on HBO Max soon. I think I might have mentioned this already; I started keying before I looked back to see what I've posted. Anyway, directed by Lisa Joy who did WESTWORLD. She is Christopher Nolan's sister. Sci-fi, has Hugh Jackman. THE KISSING BOOTH trilogy on NetFlix. I haven't seen any of them, but I loved the TO ALL THE BOYS ones, and DASH AND LILY. So I'm thinking these would be something along those lines. BECKETT on NetFlix soon. Same director that did TENET AND BLACKKKKLANSMAN. While vacationing in Greece, American tourist becomes target of a manhunt after a devastating accident.
