Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning friends!
I went to bed early last night and got up early this morning to finish the last little bit of clean up. Really I just needed to do a little sweeping and swiffering of the hardwoods and give the vacuum a quick run over the area rug in the family room. But those couple of chores ALWAYS make me work up a sweat. I did those first thing and then hopped in the shower. And I'm now enjoying coffee and quiet before the inlaws get here in an hour or so.
I love little CC with all of my heart, but he sure does have a way of spreading his hay far and wide. Lol. On the upside though, the vacuum did not even phase him. Even when I was running it right beside his pen. He just calmly hopped to the other end and waited for me to move on. Yay!
Jana - GREAT update! So just a few more weeks and you'll be back to a single mortgage and a single set of utility payments! YAY!! It's such a weight off your shoulders when that day finally comes!

Hi Everyone! Yeah Jana!! Congratulations!! Today is the day I am getting my tooth pulled. Ugh!! Never look forward to that. Eventually after it heals I will be getting a bridge and crown.. Jana, the term that you werent sure of is most likely called an implant which does almost sound like transplant. That takes a long time to do and most if not all dental plans don't cover the cost for that. Maybe look into other options as well that might be covered under a dental plan. We did go swimming yesterday for a while at the local pool. Today I dont plan on doing that as I dont know if I'll have any pain or bleeding from the tooth..my friend said the forecast called for some possible storms as well. Other that maybe I will see what other trainings I need to complete before going back. I have most if not all of the hours but maybe 3 or 3.5 that I need. I need to check to see exact hours tho. Mostly recordings of webinars to watch and a quick quiz on it so not too difficult to do but just have been procrastinating on it while on vacation. I want to get it done tho before going back because once I go back I will be very busy. Waving to everyone!

Good morning! Jana, that's great news!! What a relief! Lora, CC is just sharing his fav. with you. What a cutie! Janet, good luck at the dentist today. I am not sure if it's just the times now, or my particular dentist. But they seem to do a lot to make sure you are comfortable now... very different than even 5 years ago. Susie, I totally get the being down bit. I have done the same in different situations around events and holidays both. I don't know why it happens. ((((hugs))) Awww, I bet your GD loved the mani-pedi! And... what memory making using some of your wedding dress for crafting for your DD's wedding. Lovely! Take care at the luncheon today. (((((hugs)))) I am going to the gym today and that's it, nothing else. I just want a day of nothing. I don't want to go to the gym either, but it's important. I keep thinking of Susie's bone density improvement and that's motivating enough for me. I hope everyone is having a good day.

Good afternoon everyone.
We are having training meetings here today and tomorrow. I am ready for it to be over. While I am not directly involved it means all the techs are in and out and of course, when they are close they ask me every question they have thought about over the last 6 months and I am some how supposed to know all the answers.
Janet - yes implant. My dental insurance will actually cover up to 80% of the implant but it requires pre-approval and that is what the dentist is currently working on. Good luck today with getting your tooth pulled and I hope you are not in too much pain afterwards.
Lora your little CC is so adorable and I can tell you just love him to pieces. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
Jill I hope you enjoy your day of doing nothing.
Susie I am sorry you are feeling kind of blue. It could be from all the stress of getting everything together. I love the idea of using material from your dress to make something for your DD's wedding. Do what you need to do for yourself during this time. I am thinking of you.
RobinMD I hope you are doing well.
I MIGHT take Friday off. Pop decided to go visit my sister today. R doesn't get much vacation time and I still have a lot left. I am thinking about going to the river or the beach. I haven't decided 100% yet. My counselor told me yesterday that I need to start building "me" space into my day every day and I need to make it a priority, even if it just a walk in the evenings or 20 or 30 minutes at the gym. I do have a membership at the gym but I have yet to go.
Waving to everyone and I hope you stay cool today (it is hot here) and have a great day whatever it is you are doing.

I'm home. Its done..I am supposed to pick some type of antibiotic rinse from the pharmacy but on my way home I called the them to see if it had been called in yet and the pharmacist didnt see anything so was going to call them. This particular pharmacist is so nice. Other than trying to keep the gauze pad in which makes me gag regardless even if it is some other routine things like a cavity its not hurting me right now but its still numb so wonder if I should just in case. Susie, ditto on what everyone said about your emotions being all over the place. I f its at all possible to get some type of exercise in where you will be even a walk maybe it will help.

Hi Everyone.... the first thing I did was start to cry reading all your comments of support, starting with LORA'S last night....even though THIS IS A HAPPY THING (DD keeps reminding me of that). Love you guys! How fortunate we are to have one another to count on...and there have been so many others along the way too...
Next up - JANA - YIPPEE for the house sale - wow that date will be here in no time. Oh, and as for the "me" time. Awhile back, I started trying to lie down and "read" -better known as rest(nap) for just a few minutes like I used to years ago on the weekends. When I am able to do it, I feel soooo much better...Thanks for reminding me, I think I will do it now.
JANET - as per your advice, the first thing I did this morning was go to my gym class.
JILL - thanks for saying that my bone density test is an encouragement for you to keep getting to the gym!!
RobinMD - thinking of you today and reminding you that it is HUMP day
OK... off to do that "rest" thing... DD is on her way to the VENUE...we will be heading there tomorrow. After they left, she texted that they had forgotten something...guess what?? the wedding gown and his suit....ha ha... guess I am not the only one stressed - lol!! So, after we all had lunch with the future in-laws, DD and Future SIL stopped back to pick up their wedding clothes !

Happy Hump Day! It is a little late, but I wanted to check in... Susie, I love that you are using parts of your wedding gown for DD! I am sure there is a lot of wistfulness with DD's wedding. It brings back so many feelings and memories (impossible not to) and the happiness is mixed with missing some loved ones who will not be there...and so with the pure happiness for DD's future and possibilities, we can't help but think of people, places, and events in our lives It is going to be such a beautiful day and you will have so many happy memories of it all! And I have to agree, there is nothing like a little nap to keep you going! Jana, I'm so glad that you have a contract pending! Wow, what a relief! Lora, I was thinking of CC and you last night when I saw America's Got Talent and one of the acts was a sweet guy with a lop eared bunny named Bennie....it was adorable. I hope you have a nice visit with the in-laws tomorrow. Janet, its so nice you were able to visit your friend and she was so aware of everything going on. I know she must enjoy those visits so much. Jill, I am still trying to decide what I will do with the blackberries. I am flash freezing them right after I pick them, and I'll just keep picking them until I can't stand it - HA! I would like to make a cobbler, or I might make jam. I'll have to see how many I end up with, but I might be able to do both. Well, I'm going to get my food ready for work tomorrow, and head up early. I'm hoping tomorrow won't be too crazy at work. I do work this weekend, but my relief medic has already offered to come in a little early. I will take that every time! I hope to be back tomorrow. I can almost see the weekend! Have a good night everyone, RobinMD
