I started super early because I want an early night. Yesterday's consult turned into the surgeon performing multiple removals. The occuplastic surgeon sent everything for biopsies but does not anticipate any cancer. One site in my eyebrow was more suspicious to me. It mirrors the spots on my left calf-- itchy, scaly, and appeared suddenly. Will be glad to get back the report on the biopsies.
Today, my sister Patty & I took our sister Karen to a meditative sound bath for her bath. It was very relaxing and healing. K loved the surprise! And she sure needed the relaxation. We had a great lunch. I enjoyed my hummus wrap served by a former student. 💗

June, I hope all of the biopsies are negative. It’s nice that you can spend positive time with your sisters this summer. Susi, I hope Lily has a good recovery now that the surgery is over. Bee, how wonderful that you now know you are feeling better. You had such a rough time.
Laura has a last minute client meeting at nine today so she’ll leave for the coast later than planned. I bought yarn, low sugar pie and a frozen ollalieberry pie yesterday to bake this weekend. We may go into Morro Bay this morning because we are having dinner at home.

Thanks for the start June. Praying all biopsies are negative. I'm sure you enjoyed time with your sisters.
Bee I shall join you.
Audrey so happy you are enjoying your time at the coast.
Tomorrow we were invited to Linda and Mike's to sit around their firepit. They have two small dogs and they both get along with Benjamin so we'll take him along.
Not sure if we'll have pizza or Chinese food. Makes no difference to us.
Sweet dreams and prayers continue.

I will KOKO - The scale is still just above the fifties at 161.4 It will move eventually...should probably start walking again but will I? Hmm...
We lost electricity again this morning and that had me sleeping quieter as the fan was off. Thankfully it was temperate enough without the cover on top and just the sheet and a few more hours of sleep were enjoyed. Today the tomatoes are out drying in the sun, we have leftovers for lunch with a salad I will make to go with it, and a letter to write to an investment company. I have written a review for a book that took me to North Carolina and as it is an Own Voices story and not my voice...learned a few things. There was a conference call with our children last night and getting the logistics sorted was interesting. We should probably do it more often.
AUDREY: I am glad you are enjoying the time at the beach.
ANN: How nice that Benjamin's first owner stays in touch.
BECKY: how are your bites doing?
MJ: Sounds busy as usual. I hope you were not TOO busy!
BEE: I have a suitcase full of too-big things now and am making the ones that can be worn work for now. I hope you were successful finding clothes that fit and made you feel pretty as well as being comfortable. TP prices have gone up where you are. The value of the lira here has plummeted so people earing in lira are really in a bind. I don't know how they manage. So glad to hear your positive comment about how you are doing and feeling!
LADONNA: Glad your appt with the doctor went well and hope you are not TOO busy to still relax and have fun. Has your mother always worried about things? Is she okay otherwise? Does she live on her own? Sounds scary to me!
SUSI: I hope you hear good news post-op and Lily springs back quickly from her surgery.

Thx for the good wishes.
Ann Gathering around the fire pit with friends will make a fun Friday night. Love that the dogs will be there, too.
Audrey Sorry that Laura will be delayed, but happy that she does not have to miss a full day. Every time you mention that type of berry pie, I wonder what it tastes like. R picked blackberries yesterday while I was gone.
Bee Hoping the "wind" beneath your sails continues to carry you forward.
Cathy That's a terrific to see the 161 regularly. In one of my meetings, a lifetime member always shared that she "got to goal weight one .2 loss at a time." it's hard to understand that people of wealth and power care so little about the fallout of their greed, corruption, and power struggles. The regular conference call sounds like a fun idea.

Good morning slept well and grateful. So far so good in the 'weather department' No ran is expected today. Hopefully they are right. Cathy that new decade is within reach. Sorry you lost power again. Enjoy your walk if you go. Your conference call sounds fun June yes it was nice sitting around and chatting last night. The fire kept the bugs away. Tonight we are invited back to Linda and Mike's for either pizza or Chinese take out. We are good either way and will let them decide. We'll sit all 7 of us (counting the fur kids) and eat chat and enjoy the company. They have bug zappers and citronella candles and torches lit to keep the mosquitoes at bay. It will be a fun evening. Will have to plan the day around that indulgence. Waving and will CBL

June - Hope all the results are good. Sound bath sounds awesome. Bee - So glad you are feeling more yourself. Audrey - Enjoy however your day turns out. Ann - Enjoy the time with your friends toight. Cathy - You are getting so close! Hope you get and keep power. I just picked a couple of tomatoes. Lily had a good, if shortened walk this morning and ate well. The incisions are long to get greater margins. She kept getting her paw caught in the Kong cloud cone so I went and got the Zen cone. It has panels so she can see out the side and it's pretty soft.

MJ- That seems a little too intense and too short notice and it shouldn't end up falling on you and Toots. Enjoy your day off LaDonna

The day began overcast but it’s clearing now. Ann, have a good time with Linda and Mike. It’s so nice you have so many good neighbors. Cathy, we can’t have AC on at night because the unit is outside the bedroom and would wake us. At least you lost power when you were not awake. A group conference with your entire family is a great idea. PG&E is planning to put 10,000 miles of power lines underground because trees fall on power lines and spark fires. I imagine it will take forever and cost millions passed on to customers. That’s what caused the outage Laura had but luckily there was no fire. I am glad our lines are underground. Susi, how long will Lily have to wear her cone. LaDonna, enjoy your day off at Sullivan’s Island with Laken.

Susi so happy that Lily is resting comfortably. I'm not familiar with those collars. We only had one on Luigi for a very short time and that was years ago. It was a hard plastic cone which he absolutely hated!!!! That I do remember. Prayers continue for a speedy recovery.
LaDonna glad you are off today and going to spend it with DD. Enjoy Sullivan's Island. That reminded me of Gilligan's Island LOL. Nice that you have healthy choices with you.
Audrey it is nice that we have some great neighbors. We don't socialize that often but when we do it's always such a great time. The other get together with music and wine will start up again in a week or so as one is ill and the other two couples are on vacation.
We stopped at Hannaford's and stocked up on produce. While there we also scored sirloin strip steak that was on sale and loin pork chops for two quick and easy meals.
Going to sit and enjoy a coffee.
Waving.....

Shopping scores today were earrings for both Laura cans Rachel, hatch chili sourdough bread mix for Rob and soap for our house sitter. The jewelry will be Christmas gifts. It was so cool and pleasant walking along the waterfront and not too crowded.
Ann, have you and Carl gone out for dinner at a restaurant? I think your social occasions with neighbors are better as well as not having Donna in your life. It’s nice when the women and men get along.
