Becky, those ants are hard to get rid of especially when you have pets. Teddy was an indoor dog in summer, outdoor in winter. That is some high mold. We are moderate here. I need to go to Kroger today. I went out yesterday and by 3:30pm my eyes were so irritated I had to go home to use some artificial tears. I hope today is not so bad.
Karen, moving the irrigation system and the plants will be a pain. The river has some white water sections because of the dam system. Lots more kayakers than surfers, though. We got local green peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe and Georgia peaches from the orchard. They said they would have their own peaches in a week or so. Happy Birthday Eve to Dale.
Linda, cable companies are local monopolies so their customer service usually is not the best. That recipe looked good. I would have to find an alternative to the chicken. I just love casseroles.good luck with the hair today. I was always too chicken to try it at home.
Kathy, did you get to take your genealogy zoom class yet? Was it interesting? Have you found any surprises in your family history like family you didn’t know you had?
My eyes are still irritated this morning but am going to Kroger any way. I may not get back to the thread. Have a good day.

Chele Thanks for the start. Getting rid of the ants is hard with pets. I got one spray that is supposed to be good for pets and it stinks so bad I hate to use it. I bought another one which has lemongrass in it and it makes everything too oily. So I have been sweeping under the kitchen table after every meal with is a real pain and using regular Raid and mopping it up right away. I have been my artificial tears drops also. It's 94 at 3:30 and the last day for a chance of rain. I wouldn't mind the rain and then I wouldn't mind if it stopped although we haven't gotten a big amount but them tomorrow we will go into full summer mode without any rain chances. I hope your eyes get better also.
Linda Travis County which includes Austin is back in stage 4. They are asking people to voluntarily wear masks indoors vaccinated or not. It's not a mandate because Abbott won't do that but he isn't against vaccines either so there is that. He encourages getting the vaccine but adds it's a personal choice which I agree with.
I will be going to a jewelry mega party online tonight for the company my pastor's wife does part time work with as a stylist. I have invited enough people who accepted that she has put me down as booking a party. I hope I can get some discounted jewelry in addition to some of the wish list I texted her last night. It's only 30 minutes but it's nice talking with people from other states who have the same thing in common.
Waves to all.

Chele, sorry the eyes are still bothering you and hope that smoke clears out soon. The genealogy class that got zapped by lightning hasn't been rescheduled yet. I've found out a lot more about our family history, including quite a few people and locations we didn't know about. One of my great-grandfathers was an Ohio county sheriff during prohibition and he told my dad some wild stories. I was able to find newspaper articles about most of them. My mom's ancestors go back into colonial Maryland, so that has been interesting too. Karen, Bowden is 91, the same age as my DM. I was wondering how badly the covid affected him too. He caught it in when he was in the hospital. I just got a weather notification from one of our local stations that says that tropical system is percolating off of our coast. It looks like it may come back over FL, but would just be more rain. Linda, thanks for the chicken recipe. It looks really good. Scary on the numbers going up. Becky, those ants are a pain. I always seem to have an issue with them this time of year too. Terro baits work well, but I know you can't use those with the pets. Good luck with the jewelry party. Sounds like fun.
Liz, almost to Friday! Hope the week hasn't been too crazy.

Thanks for the start, Chele. How was Krogering? How are the eyes? They said on the a.m. news that the smoke is riding the jetstream and that is supposed to lift for us starting tomorrow. But you are north of us, so it may not lift for you (but I hope it does). We have some sunshine, but I know there are clouds that we can't see due to the haze. It's a weird looking sky. You could use the Quorn pieces as a substitute for chicken in the casserole. Or rehydrate some TVP. The demonstration garden is going to be a pain unless we luck out and the line runs under just the pathways. Fat chance of that happening. Hopefully the line can be marked as soon as the fair is over so we can get an idea what we're up against.
Linda, I wanted to stay in bed this morning, too. Must be the weather. Sorry your morning turned out so busy. Nice that you have a clean house though. Hate to hear Bob will need not one but two caps. No fun! Are they at least close together so only one part of the mouth is affected? Our cases, hospitalizations, and positivity keep going up. Deaths follow hospitalizations, so it's only a matter of time before those increase as well. The graphic you shared only goes through July 20th. By next week, TN will be in the 50-100% range, which we probably are already. Other than Osteo and the gym (where there were only 6 people plus 3 staff so plenty of social distancing possible), I wore masks everywhere else I went today.
The cherry plums look interesting, Kathy. They remind me of an oversized Ranier cherry with no stem. I'm having my last black plum for dinner, so I won't have any until tomorrow. I'll let you know how they are. That is one strange tropical system. Just what you need--more rain! I wonder if Bowden was in the hospital with something related to the terminal condition when he caught covid. I decided to wait another week on the veggies at Publix. Hopefully they will be on sale next week. I still have a couple of bags in the freezer, so I'm not totally out yet. But I will be by then. I have a nice Food City coupon, so I may see what I can find there on Tuesday that is organic. I heard some wild prohibition stories from DM's DM, but it wasn't from the law enforcement side 🤪. She did have a bit of a wild streak. That's great that you have gotten so much information about your ancestors from your class. It's also good that DM is still aroud for additional info, if needed. I'm the one in the family who knows the most about our ancestry and I don't know nearly as much as I would like to. One of these days I plan to do the ancestry.com thing (or is there something better available?), but I just don't have time now. I signed up for a class on the new camera in February and still haven't started it.
Becky, has the vertigo completely faded? Good luck and have fun at the party tonight. I hope you get lots of jewelry perks. I heard a little while ago that the CDC is hesitant to mention mask mandates for vaccinated people because not wearing a mask has been seen as our reward for getting vaccinated (not that the unvaccinated are wearing masks anyway). It doesn't seem like much of an incentive if you are possibly going to get infected like my friend's son did. What about Hot Shot baits for your ants? There is nothing pets can get into with them unless they chew the entire plastic bait. I've had them clear up my ant problems in a day or less. Arya doesn't bother them even if they are where she could.
How's the chin doing, Liz? Have Zoe's UTI drugs kicked in? I heard only 62% of healthcare personnel in NYC have been vaccinated. I hope your hospital has a much higher rate.
What's up, Denise?
Osteo was a bit off today for some reason. Blaming it on being a little tired, which I didn't notice being until I got home. I don't think I have a lot to do tomorrow other than baking the Papa Murphy's pizzas I picked up on the way home. It would be nice to get to sleep a bit longer than usual, but I don't see Arya letting that happen. If I swim in the morning, that will be 3 times this week, which I haven't done so far this year. No word on the new TV, so it would be more entertaining. If I do, I may not go far.

Karen, Bobby was in the hospital for a leg infection probably related to diabetes, so it wasn't related to what he has now. One of his sons said he has pancreatic cancer. The classes don't actually get into specific ancestors. They're mostly on how to research and what records are available. Also, using DNA results is a big topic now. FamilySearch.org is free, so you could start there. Ancestry.com has the most records for US research, so it's definitely a good site to use. There are some other good ones when you get into specific places or record types. There were some characters in our family too. Makes things interesting!
