Thanks for our start, June. I will try to walk more today. Yesterday I was quite a slug. Laura and family are taking a glass bottom boat ride. Bob and I declined as we have done it many times. We will walk along the beach and watch some of the Olympics. Bob and I were at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. We saw Carl Lewis run the 100 meters as well as a USA v Brazil volleyball game. Every event was very expensive but we stayed with friends who watched our children. Last night we went out for Mexican food but tonight we will eat at home. Temperature is 64 degrees. There really is no sea glass but there are clams, mussels and occasional otters. The Christmas jewelry I bought Laura yesterday is made with sea glass. Where we are there isnβt a lot of seaweed.

Thanks for the start June.
I will continue to KOKO. We need to stop at Walmart for a few things I forgot at HEB because my shopping list was on my phone and I couldn't get to it. We are going to Bastrop in the afternoon to see if my phone can be repaired or I need it replaced. Thank goodness for Apple Care.

I did really well on Fri with movement and food choices. Repeating on Saturday. Like Becky, I need to run to the store for just a couple of things. The bulletins are printed and ready for me to take to the church. Will finish up a few cleaning to do's that I did not get to on Friday. None of the beaches around here have any seaglass that I'm aware of but it looks really cool.
Becky, hope your phone can be repaired. Audrey, great temps..enjoy. Ann, yes! Randy and I were just outside looking at it! A pumpkin is a good decription. June, hope you are continuing to heal
prayers for all...have a peaceful night everybody

June, make it a good one. Audrey, mentioning the glass bottom boat reminded me of that old movie. Hope they have fun. You temps sound good. Ann, enjoy doing your laundry and household chores. Becky, hope they can fix your phone. LaDonna, I used to do the church bulletins on a word processor. Lots of finagling. Took my walker for another walk after snapping the morning pics. It is cool out there for this time of year, IMO. Sat outside yesterday afternoon late and did handwork on a dress I made a few weeks ago. I do not like machine sewed hems. Just old and odd. Will play in my bedroomagain today, and when I finish that, I am aiming for the closet. Cathy, Susi and MJ, hope y'all have a great day!

Hi Cathy. Sorry about your power outage. Take care.
Susi music to my ears that Lily is doing so well. A 2.7 mile walk with her is quite impressive. Have fun with Daria.

Good morning, June - Audrey - Ann - Becky - LaDonna - Bee - Susi - Cathy - and AWL!!!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students enjoying summer vacation... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.
And a few of thanksgiving that Lily is doing so well!

Yesterday after the Kressling's soccer conditioning we both got haircuts, so he's all set for recruit training and JLS and I've got "happy hair" (AKA short hair) again. After he went home Toots & I went to Boscov's and had ourselves a Christmas-in-July miracle: I found, on the clearance rack, three pairs of khaki cargo shorts and a pair of lightweight pants that are well-made and FIT. Now I can pack up the Amazon items that, upon arrival, just didn't make the grade (NOTE: it has been incredibly hard to find women's khaki-colored shorts/slacks at the end of July).
Today my plan is to redd'UP all the YM gear that needs to travel on Monday, paying particular attention to our BDU stock. I will attempt to get a recruit list from the Commander so I can prep the measurement sheets (that worked well in June and I'd like to repeat it). I will also set up our two travel bags for JLS so the Kressling and I can start assembling gear.
But first... the Kressling & K'ling2 just walked through the door. Must see why.
Coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... in a sunbeam...
πππ£ππππ£ππππ£ππππ£ππ Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππ£ππππ£ππππ£ππππ£ππ

Just got done with the few chores I was going to do and put chicken breast in the crock pot to shred later for chicken soft tacos. My morning walk consisted of picking up a large bag of trash that someone dropped on my road and had busted open. So infuriating. I found a name on some of the trash and should have called the police but didn't want to aggravate them too. I still need to run to the store for a few things and plan to do that while the chicken cooks away. Ann, great that you have some cool weather to enjoy. Hope you can get your walks in before the rain. Bee, the bulletin is easier some weeks that others. This one was much more work as we have a young lady that will be Baptized. Hope the hemming goes well. Susi, have fun with Daria and love hearing that Lily is doing well post surgery. Cathy, prayers and Hugs. MJ, happy birthday to you! Waving and will cbl
