When I started losing weight and first got to goal I had one that was something like: Eating brings a few moments of pleasure but being at goal is happiness 24/7. I also thought a lot about it being immediate gratification versus delayed gratification.

Mantra - since going through Beck soon after I returned to WW this time in 2009, I've been thinking frequently of the tools that I've learned and that help me stay on program - especially helpful to me are hunger is not an emergency, exercise my resistance muscle, and keep my advantages foremost in mind. Exercise - 1 day of weight lifting, 1 day of outdoor running. bbbearsmom, you're doing so well at keeping up with your walking!
