Thanks for our start, June. I definitely need to drink more water this week. We have no definite plans other than reading, beach walking, watching Olympics and buying groceries. We are all going to the kid friendly nearby Sea Shanty for dinner.

Responding-- from memory--to Saturday's posts.
Mj Happy belated birthday! Have mercy-- leadership is falling flat! With luck the whole thing won't implode or collapse on one day one.
Ann Glad that the skies parted to make Mr. B's "day." Hope your dinner was spevial. Meatloaf was Mom's fav. Love that you two share that.
Audrey What great memories you are making eith Bob & your family. Bee We tried Popeye's--once-- that was enough. After eating my IIL's real southern fried chicken, biscuits, and such, FF chicken sandwiches fall flat.
Becky Great that you made progress installing your phone apps. Cathy Glad that you connected eith your DD? Hope that you get to also speak with your DS. That seems very chaotic-- not knowing when electricity was on or off.
LaDonna You had quite a few OP days. That's the big positive here. Susi Hope you andDaroa had a fantastic visit & that Lily continued to heal.

Thanks for the start June. I will continue to KOKO. We will be going grocery shopping after I do the elliptical. Too hot to walk outside so I will continue to exercise inside and spend my outside time helping with the cattle.

Thanks for the start June.
Audrey so happy you continue to enjoy being at the coast.
Happy shopping Audrey.
Weather Sunday was a mixed bag very typical of New England. We had pouring rain which tapered off followed by sunshine and blue sky. We got more than our fair share of walking in. I also did more than my fair share of nibbling. Tomorrow is another day.
I did read all posts and sounds like all is well.
We enjoyed sitting in the screen room and enjoying the moon.
Sweet dreams and prayers continue.

Good morning friends. Slept well and woke up to dense fog. I can just about make out our neighbor's home.
No plans for the day. Just going to play it all by ear.

Currently have electricity and internet so trying to finish what I can online before it goes again. Having the fan on is nice
I will KOKO. Scale still stuck at 161.6 and I am OP every day.
Talked to our son and he has business trips coming up. I have things to do for my husband but they depend on electricity and internet and require him to be available and he hasn't been so far today. He has been following the news...

Thanks for the start June Audrey - Hope you continue to enjoy your vacation. Becky - Stay cool! Ann - That was us early yesterday morning and it ended up a beautiful day. Cathy - Hope the power stays for a reasonable amount of time. It's going to be hot, but the humidity is supposed to ease for today and tomorrow at least. It's been a good weekend with Daria. I did have to mow yesterday. The rest of the time was in the pool with the Olympics on in the background. Saturday was over the top food wise but yesterday was better and I'm fully back on track today.

June, make it a good one. The chicken sandwich was fast and easy, and I was starving.
Audrey, the Sea Shanty sounds like fun.
Becky, have a good shopping trip.
Ann, enjoy an easy day.
Good to see you, Cathy. Praying for your country.
Susi, glad it was a good weekend.
It has been a busy morning. Sun is up and at the moment doing good. Lots of obstacles showing up for him to dodge.
Walked Ryder, and each day I am increasing my steps. Of course, I'll be 123 years old before I hit the 10,000 step mark. BUT I am proud of my progress.
Even went back outside and swept the front walk. DGS weedeated Saturday, and didn't remove the trimmings.
Coffee is dripping, it will be my treat this morning.
Back to the bedroom and maybe the closet. Moving bookshelves around. Gonna try to set up a puzzle table out of the view of DGGs who want to help when they come to visit.
Hope ALL have a great day!
Waving to LaDonna and MJ!

Coffee was extra good this morning. Breakfast is over and my day is planned and tracked. In a bit we'll head on out for a walk. As to how far we get will depend on Benjamin. Cathy good luck with your electricity. I bet that fan feels heavenly. Plateaus are difficult to break through. I know you will do what needs to be done to get into that next decade. Susi glad that you day turned out like ours. It was really great later on. Not much humidity despite all that heavy rain which surprised me. Glad you enjoyed the pool and welcome back to being on track...me as well Bee you have a wonderful day planned. Nice to set up a special spot for crossword puzzles. That way it's up and ready when you are Have fun with bathroom duties. All steps count regardless of the amount. You and Ryder are the dynamic duo Time to get a move on. Waving and shall CBL

Back to work and KOKOing. Nothing else new to report June, hope your day is off to a great start! Audrey, I love a beach with tide pools. So pretty and you never know what you might find. Limited screen time is the best. Becky, How nice to get to go back to church and see your friends that have missed you. I so enjoyed our church service yesterday. We had a Baptism and reaffirmation of Baptisms and it was just nice. Enjoy your new jewelry and phone. Susi, sounds like a wonderful weekend enjoyed by you and D. Bee, chic fila is my favorite chicken sandwich fast food place. I don't believe I've ever had a chicken sandwich any where else eating out. I used to like the little fish fila sandwich at Mcdonalds. But have not had it in years. How is your DD doing? Glad u were able to visit with her yesterday. Ann, has the fog lifted? Hope the walk goes well. Does B not like to walk much or is it that he has leash issues? Lucy does not do well being on a leash - she wants to still do her own thing and is just way too strong for me to walk her. She will throw you down. Thankfully she is now adhering to her collar that allows her a large area of the yard to run and play so she gets plenty of exercise. She looks sometimes like she is running a 100 miles an hour chasing squirrels LOL Cathy, is the news providing any info as to when things might be better in your area? I hope you get good news very soon! Great that you got to talk to your son. You are very close to the next decade MJ, I like the "lots of little celebrations" for your birthday

LaDonna KOKO'ing is a great way to start a Monday. Yes the fog finally lifted. It looked like a graveyard scene from an old horror flick! We have a halter on Benjamin when we got for a longer walk. He just wants to stop dead in his tracks for some odd reason and you have to keep coaxing him to walk. I can get him moving better than Carl so I'm usually the ONE in CHARGE when we are all out together. When we take him in the yard a collar will do the trick. My guess is that he wasn't walked very ovten as a puppy. Lots of folks keep their dogs outside tied up or they have the doggie door. With all the critters in our neck of the woods no way would I do a doggie door and judging by how our neighbor's dog barked constantly I don't want to chain him up. We just go with the flow when walking him. LOL I can imagine Lucy running after squirrels. They are all so entertaining to watch. A squirrel will get Benjamin moving quickly as well...it's as if he's trotting over to catch it and will growl when it runs up a tree Lunch is over. Had a bowl of veggie bean soup along with some hummus and petite baby carrots. Have plenty of fruit to nibble on as I need to. We did get another walk in. This time he walked better...go figure! Waving and now going to read.

Cathy, use the electricity and Internet while you have it. Bee, how big are the puzzles you do? Do the DGGs mess things up or take pieces? Ryder doesnโt have to worry about a step count. 10000 is a made up number. I have had just one chicken sandwich and that was at a Burget King. Ann, we love the morning fog here because the alternative would be the Fresno hearz

Audrey, they want to play in it as they love to do the small puzzles. I do a 1,000 piece usually. The one I am doing now is 500 pieces. When we went to see my sister she gave us a bunch she had done.

Ann/LaDonna - I normally harness Lily because she is so strong and tends to pull especially when there is another dog on the road but the chest band is too close to where her stitches are. Fortunately we have been lucky with not too many other dogs lately. Isabella has to take her out in the yard on a leash for the time being but fortunately she is also strong and Lily doesn't pull as much in the yard as outside the fence. Bee - Hope you find a good place for your puzzles I occasionally enjoyed the Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich.
