June, thanks for our start. My dreams came true. It rained on the coast yesterday though not in Fresno. The surf was higher though there wasnβt a tremendous amount of rain. Today we are returning to the Kynsi Winery but this time with Lauraβs family. It is so beautiful with rolling hills and grape vines. I need to take some photos. Dinner at the Sea Shanty was a big hit especially with the kids. We got there at 5:30 p.m. and did not have to wait for a table. When we left there was quite a line of people waiting in the rain. We may return Wednesday. The weather will dictate what else we do today. Dinner is at home tonight. Losing weight will reset next week.

Good morning. Slept well and once again grateful. Thanks for the start June. Again so happy the nurse was impressed with your wound care. Bet it feels great having the stitches out. Happy you got the well deserved rain that you need Audrey. Hopefully the weather will be good enough to return to the Sea Shanty MJ prayers going out that Day Two of Recruit Class 2021-3 goes well. Our air quality is compromised due to the wild fires. It's supposed to be better on Wednesday. Hopefully they are right. I shall continue to KOKO today.... Waving!

June, hope it's a good day.
Audrey, sounds like y'all are having fun.
MJ, just keep sipping the coffee.
Ann, enjoy your day.
Slightly tired has showed up here today, so I didn't force Ryder to stroll.
Lady came to mop yesterday, so am back in the bedroom. May be moving some bookshelves around.
Not sure what else is happening here, but it will happen.
Hope Y'all have a great day!

June - Glad you are healing well and the nurse was pleased. Audrey - Glad dinner was a big hit. Enjoy the winery. MJ - Please go easy in the heat. Ann - Our air quality is being impacted as well. Bee - Glad you are aware of your limits with "Ryder". Typical late Monday and a repeat today. I'll take this over how slow it is in the winter.

Still having fun with laundry Susi I agree nothing worse than a very s l o w work day. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 70's I'll TAKE IT!!!!!

Audrey Glad you had rain even if it wasn't in Fresno. Enjoy the winery and glad dinner was a huge hit. Yes Enjoy your time away. You can lose weight after you get home.
MJ Continued prayers for YM Recruit Class. Drink more coffee.
Ann Glad you slept well. I didn't sleep long enough. We have the air you can wear humidity going on here. I walked to the gate after lunch and it gave me a headache. It's mostly cloudy but still 96 degrees at 2:30. Doubt we will reach 100 today thank goodness. I would gladly take the 70's too but that happens only in the house these days or early morning.
Bee Sorry slightly tired has showed up today. I know that feeling. Make it a good day in Beeville.
June Glad you are feeling well and the nurse was pleased with your wound care.
Susi I hope you get a break soon but it is better than not having enough to do.
LaDonna Austin has only had two days in the 100's this summer and so far we haven't had any out here in the country. It's been close but it will happen I know. Don't blame you for house walking. That's why I do the seated elliptical but believe me I still work up a big sweat.
We went to Walmart this morning and they weren't busy at all. I don't know if everyone is slowly moving back to HEB because they were packed yesterday. I hate for them to lose business but older people do not like checking themselves out. An employee even asked if I needed any help checking out this morning. I have a virtual jewelry party for a lady from church tonight and a spa and sparkles virtual party tomorrow night for a lady who I used to go to church with but has moved to Idaho. She has invited her Mary Kay friend who sent out samples so we will be beautify our faces and look at jewelry. She and I are as she said two peas in a pod. We both love being outside, living on a farm and jewelry. Her MK friend lives in my home town and I didn't know it. Will be a fun time for sure.

Becky, Mary Kay and jewelry...what fun. Men just donβt understand. Nora made her mom bring face masks for the three of us. I prefer to have someone check out for me. I just want people to keep their jobs. Work gives you a purpose.

Becky so sorry you are so hot as well. We are now under a severe storm advisory as well as the air quality. This weather is a royal PITA at times. All we can do is just deal with it. Also sorry you didn't sleep long enough. I came in from taking Benjamin across the street and chatted briefly with Jean. It was hot so we didn't linger. When I came in and sat down I fell asleep. Carl was still outside playing with putting together a smoker that he picked up on sale just before covid hit. He gave our older one to a friend that really needs it. She and her DH are hard workers with I think 4 kids. They live one town over and were happy to get it. Carl is tickled pink to have a 'new boy toy' to play with Becky nice that you have something fun to look forward to. I used to sell MK way back in the day. It was fun and their products were great. I bet a lot of folks are not happy about the self check out. I don't like it myself but Carl prefers it as it's quicker.
Audrey I agree work does give you a purpose. Most of the cashiers at our Walmart are elderly and after going through you do need to check the slip as more often than not you are double charged. No big deal as we just make a trip to the front desk. Men don't like doing that sort of thing, though...so there's that!

Checking in-- late
Ann That triple threat of HHH can be a little much. Good to work around the situation when walking Mr. B. Audrey Hope the rain helps the area where you area staying. Hope Laura & the kiddos enjoyed the day trip.
Bee Hope that the slower paced day recharged your energy a bit.
Becky What a great idea to send MK samples to use before the virtual jewelry party. How nice to connect w/ someone in your town with same shared interests.
Cathy Waving"hi" and hoping you couldcharge all your devices at some point.
LaDonna Hard to believe that you are already halfway through your work week. Are things starting to gear up for the new school year?
Mj Yikes! Maybe you need to start the day w/ an Expresso.
Susi Wish that your work week was going a bit better. Your pictures of the produce from your garden looks amazing.

Tuesday's goals Was to enjoy lunch w/ mt from student, now dear friend. He treated me to lunch at a local wing place, Quaker Steak & Lube. Nice visit. Accomplished a few chores before and after lunch. Celebrating that today is the last day for cleaning & applying antibiotics around my eyes. π All four sites look good. Now I hope to hear good reports regarding the biopsies.
