Lauraβs family goes home today. They spent a lot of time at the beach yesterday and we all returned to the Sea Shanty for dinner. The kids had no time for snacks so they ate really well. Bob and I went into Morro Bay and spent time at Coalesce Bookstore. Laura and Jeremy were married in the bookstoreβs nondenominational garden chapel 10 years ago. Iβll wash the sheets and towels after they leave. I only have to strip the beds but I always wash the sheets since Iβll have time. Weβll return to the Galley for dinner.

Need to kick in gear some activity today and the long weekend for me. Been pretty much a slug. Nothing else new to report at the moment. I've been really busy this week at work gearing up for teachers to come back week after next - paying for trainings, buying supplies, paying for cleanings, repairs on bldgs etc etc. βNever a dull moment at a school district. June, thanks for start - hope you have a great day and get got good news. Ann, good luck with the KOKO and hope you had a great sleep. Audrey, is the weather still steamy in Fresno? Predictions are for 105 heat index for us today. I know you have so enjoyed the cool temps and family time. Cathy, I'm so glad u were able to enjoy some friend time. MJ, oh my I hope the Kressling's finger is ok! Becky, I used to attend some jewelry parties for Premiere jewelry ( I may have the name wrong) It was good quality costume jewelry but a little pricey. Best thing about it was that part of the proceeds went to charity. I still have some of the pieces I purchased. WAYyyy back in the day my sweet grandmother sold Sarah Coventry as a side job. It was also quality costume jewelry. I so loved looking thru her show pieces when I was a little girl. Sweet memory.

Good morning all. Once again slept well and grateful. Today will be a day of a 'little of this and a little of that'. Audrey safe travels for Laura and family. Happy you enjoyed the Sea Shanty and hope you and Bob enjoy eating at the Galley. Cathy good to 'see' you. Happy you had a great time with your friends MJ keeping y'all in prayer for the final testing. Also praying that the Kressling's X-Ray comes back with nothing broken. LaDonna hope your weather is cool enough for you to get some outdoor walking in. Sounds like you've been a busy gal. Waving and will CBL

Gooood morning Read all the personals posted later on Weds. Relying on my memory, so my comments could go sideways.
Ann Lucky that Benjamin can us the yard when needed, but will walk in the hood when tempts. Are cooler. We have quite a few Subways nearby, but I never think to eat there. Audrey Ugh. . . Waking up to a mess inside a fridge Bet It will seem very quiet after Lara's family leaves. When do you leave?
Bee Understand. That you will miss the nurses . . the at home healthcare workers are often so helpful and kind. I know that we will grateful for R's physical therapist after his surgery. Becky You have been quitethe party girl lately. It's nice to treat yourself.
Cathy Wonderful that you will again see your friend's. Niceto have that visit to anticipate admidst all the adjustment you are forced to make.
LaDonna Yes, it feels like all the school systems are starting to gear up. When do you resume the normal 5-day work schedule?
Mj You & Kressling are in a whirlwind of activity. Hope all goes well with Kressling's med check. Best to be prepared to wear a mask, b/c mask guidance can vary from day to day. As far asI know, vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks as of today. Ohio has a large number of unvaccinated; obviously they are probably not wearing masks regardless what the state, county, or business policies are. Susi Am glad that Lily's report was reasonably hopeful. Good that there is no change her ongoing medical treatment.

Thursday's goals Continue to reorganizing course files in my study. I am assigned a course that I have no taught in3 years & it has a new textbook. Adm. policies, however, have put teaching assignments in potential flux up until the semester's start. So I will limit my prep. To orgazingfiles & obtainingthe new text. Little disappointed that after an extremely grueling academic period, we are still infor a rough go. Dinner will be chicken stir fry & rice.

June, I admire you teachers who keep plodding along to insure our young people get an education. Ann, will join you in KOKOing. Audrey, sounds like it has been a good time. Did you buy any books? Cathy, so glad you got to get together with your friends. MJ, hope the Kresslng's finger is not too bad. LaDonna, we can kick it into gear together. After my walk yesterday, I tested a new food, and it was a no go. Sluggish overtook me. So far today all is good, walked Ryder, snapped pics and about to treat myself to some coffee --- first since Sunday. Going through books today to make space for others. May also do some more handwork on my dress. Hope ALL have a great day!

June - Lots of calming vibes as the administration tries to get its act together and you have to limit your prep until they do. Ann - Enjoy your this and that day. Audrey - I bet it will seem so quiet after they leave. Glad yo had a good dinner. Cathy - Glad you got to spend time with friends MJ - Prayers that the Kressling is an easy and minor fix. Glad the training is over today. What a grueling 4 days you have had. LaDonna - Hope you can get some activity in. It's such good stress relief. Bee - Glad to see your recovery is going so well now. I got out at a reasonable hour but the grass in the far back had grown so quickly that I had to double mow which took over an hour. And as Lily is recovering but still needs to be on a leash outside, I needed to give her a longer walk so she could burn up some energy. I was definitely tired when I went to bed last night and needed the alarm this morning. I'm getting my hair done after work and it is a long appointment so I brought dinner to eat early at work. I'll probably crash when I get home.

Bee Are you keeping track of the food that are "no gos"? Glad you and your faithful Ryder were out and about this morning. Would be nice if the adm. would appreciate faculty more, but that has never happened. Now if we were football coaches. Or adm. . . . But so goes life.
Ann Thx for the "shout out." It is much appreciated. Teachers worked their butts off. I have decided that I will not make myself crazy over the situation. Enjoy the full salon hair treatment! Susi Very encouraging news regarding Lily. Whew-- having to mow twice after a full day of work had to be tiring.
LOL. . . Chicken stir is not happening today. Somehow dinner has become beef w/ gravy over rice and a cheesy zucchini/yellow squash, & tomatoes. Probably had to do w/ the need to useup the produce which did not go with stir fry.
All my biopsy results show no sign of cancer. Of course, I am quite happy. The EOB came for my share of the procedures. Was less than I expected, but the Lab will send a separate charge. Still, I am happy to be insured and have great results.
