Starting us for Saturday and I have a day planned with Emma and her Mommy and Daddy. So looking forward to this. Glad she is feeling better, it has been rough week for her. she spent time with her Pappy today and he says she is acting like her busy energetic self. the beginning of the weekend and know some of you have plans so have great time and hope to hear how your day went. I will be back later in the day.
thanks again to Lucy for taking August, know you said you may need help with a couple days so be sure to remind us.

Hope you have a fantastic time Kathie!
I think the prescription for Fred will be ready for pick up this morning so we’ll see if the cost to us is what they said it will be and if he authorized a 30 or 90 day supply. He agreed with me yesterday that 30 days is probably the best as if he does get a bleed it would be stopped and it would be bad to waste a lot of medication. But I think Fred is calmer about everything. I’m trying to be but it’s hard. One thing this episode has made us realize is we really need to meet with our funeral home and get our final arrangements made as it looks like once again Cindy is putting off paying us the $20,000 and we had been waiting for that to get it done but we can pay for it without that as Fred did say no more trips while on the eliquis as he would hate to be out of town and get a bleed. Plus every time we try to talk to Debbie about what we want she won’t discuss it as she says we’re being morbid. Guess she thinks we’ll live forever! So we’re just going to get it done and not be thinking about it anymore.
Our weather has really cooled off and it’s so good to have the windows open.

Sandy, I tried Eliquis back when. I have side affects to everything. A naturalist told me to use lots of ginger. I made my arrangements and got everything in order after I almost died 6 years ago.
Kathy, enjoy Nashville.
Home and very tired. Glad to be back to my bed, chair, and coffee.
I will start the thread at night. It will be early for those of you in CA.
I will be back later and try to post more.
This is our last heat advisory day. A cool front is coming in. Hooray!
Have a great day all.

GOOD MORNING/AFTERNOON, SANDY we have our arrangements made, not paid for yet as might be some changes made.
the lots and the stone are picked out and paid for.fact the stone is already there.
we got 20% off if we bought the stone right away.
the kids are glad we have done this, makes it easier on them.Jeana knows where everything is in the safe.need MARGIE to get over here,Nancy comes home she will be shown.
DEBBIE needs to know what your wishes are for medical reasons and funeral arrangements, also she is the one you can trust, so tell her this needs to be done.
I give you permission to let DEBBIE read this post.DEATH fast or suffering can be a shock, knowing what needs to be done will ease the grieving.
NITA and DICK HAVE THEIR arrangements made also. their dd's friends can't understand why they talk about it.the dd's tell them you have to know this so you know what to do when the time comes. phyl

Hi!
Yesterday is a blur -- allergy attack! Levi is home -- and so is his mama! -- and now they learn to be parents. I can't wait to hold him, but I may have to. I don't want to hold him if this turns out to be a cold I have. No fever, though, so I think it's just allergy. Sandy, prayers for you and Fred as you start the new meds. Hope the issue is resolved. Phyl, I think you could adapt this recipe to self-rising flour -- I'll post it, if you want to try. Jenny, hope the antibiotic takes care of your problem.
We'll have a high temp around 100Âş today. and maybe tomorrow, before a front comes through. Then it should cool down to the 90s. I never expect rain, but who knows?
My allergies are still driving me nuts, so we'll stay in again today. DBIL is to arrive tonight, and we're looking forward to his visit.
No news except more baby news -- they got home yesterday, so I would imagine they're busy now.
Hugs! Diane

I just got back from my walk. This makes two days in a row that I walked. The temperature is 75 degrees and humidity is 61% - nice weather for walking. I have no plans for today. Things should be done, but they can wait.

Hi!
Home with our eyelids closing. Auntie's celebration of life was this afternoon. It was a good service -- we always want to stay awhile longer on this earth, but our prayers were already answered when we were given 20 additional years with her. Cousin and her husband are at the hotel, and things have gone really well with them. She has great taste in decorating her home, and she was happy to go with us through one or two furniture stores and help us decide on what Guy and I like. (Turned out to be the cherry wood top with off-white legs and undercarriage. Also, our furniture must have built-in storage.)
Sandy, Guy and I are very much in the same boat about wills and plans. If the kids won't listen, might be a good idea to write it all and have a notary sign it. Just to be sure it's done the way you want it to be done.
Mm. So sleepy. See you tomorrow! ~~Mollyann

Diane, I'm so glad Levi is home.
About the final plans, I made mine after my bout in 2015. As soon as I was able I started taking care of it. No, the kids don't want to think about it but the time will be here sooner or later. I already had a plot and marker because my husband passed away in 1998. I already had a burial policy which was what I used for his funeral. So I went to the funeral home I used for his and took care of everything. The bottom line was that the kids could feel free to change whatever. I put cremation, but they don't have to do that.
A man died yesterday who would have been 60 today. He had a son and daughter. The daughter has 2 years of college behind her. She plans to be a teacher. The son graduated 3 or 4 years ago. They knew this was coming but no one is ever ready.
Good night. Fixin' to start August.
