This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

DH and I are taking advantage of the temporary quiet, relaxing with coffee and the dogs. Everyone is home safely. What more could I want?
Wishing you all, north and south, east and west, a peaceful and joyous weekend. Your friendship is the most wonderful gift of all. Merry Christmas.

Good morning, my merry mug buddy, and all to follow. I've got a book going, an investment in three net series heavily underway, xmas dinner well advanced, all gifts accounted for and wrapped, cookies delivered to neighbors. Cheery sloth. I took a deep two hour nap yesterday. Delightful. As DS and I pattered about at 2 a.m. conspiring on his completion of DH's present, he pointed out the window to the fog and said, "Then one foggy Christmas Eve. . . ." I'm pretty sure I detected a gleam of red in the haze. Just a flyover.
Gosh Shari I hear you about the Sugar Hand Syndrome. Mine are killing me. I sat down w a cup of tea and a selection of several small but intense ones and am feeling it today. Water, Aleve, and Abstemiousness are the only cures. WAA! I want to eat cookies!
Martha, your menus are right up my alley, all the different flavors DH and I enjoy. Last night I lightened up an Italian Wedding Soup recipe and it was a hit. Lots of kale found a home. i join Nancy in gratitude for our friendship here. Merry Christmas!

Happy Saturday to all! I'm dragging a bit today. We do Chinese take out as our Christmas Eve dinner. It's a wonderful tradition. I also get the Christmas crackers. I went out and bought myself some sweaters and a dress--plus workout pants and a top. Merry to me. I need to see what time A Christmas Story is on. We love that movie. I never could understand why my dad loved it so. I do now. I love our special friendship here. I hope everyone has a very nice holiday, and if you are traveling, God Speed. See you all tomorrow!
