Most of the vehicles I see on the road here are either black, white, or gray. I drive a cream colored older car. It's not white, it's cream. My spouse, Joyce, drives a silver Nissan. It's not gray, it's silver. Lol. When I'm pet sitting in a client's home and looking for their pet who is hiding, I can always tell when I'm approaching a childs room. Very colorful and bright. The parents room is usually dark and dull. Once I cared for a dog who lived with a woman who was an artist. She loved color! The tiles in her kitchen were all different colors. So were the counter tops and the appliances. It was wonderful, bright, and cheerful. So was her dog. Lol. We don't have to give up color as we age. I still have a box of Crayola with 64 crayons. I have them on my desk. My coloring books are there too. Coloring books with things like flowers, trees, oceans, animals, vehicles, gardens, etc. Very relaxing when the world becomes too stressful. It's fun. Fun is good. Even for adults.

I have a red car, JD's is bright blue! Ron has a silvery/goldish truck. No dull colors here We all wear bright colors, tie-dye is a favorite lol. Before my mother passed, she was in a nursing home. I got her a bunch of coloring books, markers, pens, and crayons. She was overjoyed to color while everyone else was down in the dumps.

Your Mom must have loved those coloring books. That was an excellent idea! I'm sure she enjoyed them so much. I love the colorful vehicles you and your family have. I don't know why today I suddenly became aware of so many black, gray, and white vehicles.
Every now and then I'll see an orange, a baby powder blue, purple, light green, fire engine red, yellow, and others on the road. They always make me smile. Little things really do mean a lot. Lol.

Both dh and I have dark blue cars. My previous car was red. I have had silver and gold cars, but never white. I also had an orange car (a VW Super Beetle) years ago.

Orange. I love it! I bet you could always find your car in a parking lot. Lol.

That could be a problem looking for your car in a crowded parking lot. There it is. No wait it's over there. Is that it?

That could be a problem looking for your car in a crowded parking lot. There it is. No wait it's over there. Is that it? That's why the key fobs that you can push so your car will "beep" at you are so handy.
A year or so ago dh had to go to the hospital for a procedure. I drove him and waited while he had it. When I went out to get my car there had been a snow dump. ALL of the cars in the parking lot were covered with snow and I couldn't tell which was mine. I used the car fob beeper to find it.

What would we do without all these helpful gadgets?
I have a friend who loves gadgets. If it's a gadget she has it. Lol.
