I went to sleep early so up early. I bought a total gym for overweight people. It comes totally assembled. I would like a physical therapist to teach me muscle building. I found a place for it in front of a tv on a desk. I have DVD player. I can pay it off much cheaper than usual and the rest of the fitnation. I decided I would not go to school. I don't have a computer that can do that. but I am also getting an amazon tablet which I can take to my library and download booksI want to read. t is 8 inch and I have trouble reading books otherwise. It comes with case and ring on back. When I visit my brother I can bring it. I really like this. I got off caffeinated soda. Drinking lemon crystal ate 4 points for my big glass 8 times. I am so happy. My case manager is going to give back Money I sent them enough to pay off the bike, the total gym and the tablet right away. I really want to read again. also you can watch you tube tv which I get for it. I get these at the end of the week. or the Monday after this coming Monday.

Yesterday we walked 2.6 mi after breakfast, stopped at the Farmers Market at the park, and walked to pick up lunch takeout. In late afternoon I did my floor PT exercises. 😃
Today DD1 DSIL and the DGDs are coming over for lunch while their condo is being “shown” by the realtor. 😍
AMY - I’m glad it sounds like your healthy food and exercise needs will be covered abd you’ll be able to focus on your health.
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

Here’s the WW Weekly technique article: Rethink Late-Night Snacking: www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/article/plan-ahead-stop-late-night-eatingIt's 9 p.m. and that new Netflix show and a bag of chips are calling your name. You may not even be hungry when you raid your kitchen cabinet. So what's a late-night snacker to do? Try this three-step plan: 1. Pinpoint a situation that causes you to mindlessly snack. For example, watching TV when it's almost time for bed. 2. Decide in advance what you'll do in that situation. You can still munch on something, but try picking a snack that will help you stick to your Budget, like a bowl of fruit. 3. Create a fill-in-the-blank statement on how you answered the questions above. (When ___ , I'll ___.) "When I get the urge to mindlessly eat while watching TV, I'll eat some cherries instead." And the recipe cards:

SUNDAY!
Sounds like things are going well for everyone!
AMY-- I'm glad you'll be able to get your MOW--that's great!
CAIT-- that water business sounds inconvenient, at best. Hope the street and the water get back in shape ASAP.
KELLY -- Good job getting close to 120! That's awesome!
My in-laws are in town, so they were over yesterday, and today we'll have 10 for supper. I did just manage to sneak a stretch in, and it felt soooooo gooooooood! I need to figure out a way to do some stretches when we're not at home, because we'll be gone a couple of weeks in October, and I don't think that it would be good for me to miss so much! Luckily, we'll get lots of beach-walking in, I hope!

Today was a bust. I slept late and had ice cream and I am going to eat whole wheat spaghetti and sauce without fat and added sugar and 2 cups of blueberries thawed. it is cheaper I will cup the spaghetti and sauce in half when getting my meals on wheels. But the weekend I willet the whole wheat spaghetti and sauce and blueberries because no MOW on the weekend,.

Good Morning!!
I had a good weekend. The Women's Conference was wonderful. We were outside in the woods. It was a little warm when we were out in the sun. Definitely a Blessed day. Saturday I had a high point day. That's ok. I tracked and added 6 miles over the weekend.
Amy: Great news about the MOW. Hope that will help out with Healthy eating.
Cait: Great job on a good days and all the walking.
Carol: Great job with stretching. Yes you should stretch while away. There are videos that you can do from a smartphone if you have one.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

Yesterday we walked 3.7 mi to breakfast, and DD1, DSIL and DGDs came for lunch. Then we walked to the beach and DSIL and the DGDs skated along the beach path while DD and I walked, another 1.8 mi, so 5.5 mi for the day. It was a fun day 😍
They’re back to work this am on the alley project behind our house, supposed to finish Fri. We can’t get our cars out til it’s finished. Didn’t want to park on the street for a week and a half, and we don’t have a pressing need to drive anywhere. We can walk. There seem to be a lot of thefts of vehicles and catalytic converters in the area. Hopefully no more water shut offs.
Beck tip of the day: Monday Motivation: If you’ve gotten off track with your eating, don’t expect yourself to immediately be able to put everything back into place. You need to build your resistance muscle back up first! Think about what feels doable this week. Recommit to it, do it (giving yourself credit!), and then add one or more steps next week.
KELLY - Glad you had such a nice Women’s Conference and GFY tracking and 6 mi for the weekend.
AMY - GFY getting back on track after the ice cream.
CAROL - Sounds like you’re back from CO. Are your in-laws visiting from CO? GFY stretching. Wow, 10 for dinner!
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.

TUESDAY!
KELLY -- Good job with the positive attitude, even with a high point day. I see you're right back at it, too! I should look for a standing stretch video for my phone. I don't like to get down on hotel floors, and not all hotel rooms have chairs that are suitable for seated stretching. Good advice!
AMY -- I hope you get your water back soon; that can be stressful!
CAIT -- GFY walking, walking, walking. There are a lot of thefts of catalytic converters here, too. Time to drive electric! Yes, the in-laws are here. They are staying in a "sister" facility (independent living residence) here, for free! It's working out really well! They can eat meals there, or have us over for meals, and they can nap or relax when they want to. We had them for dinner last night, and they said they wanted a quiet morning today, so it's working out great!
Yesterday was the last day of outdoor swimming -- sniff -- so I'm glad I went (2). No one wanted to get out of the pool! I stretched there, and I just finished stretching here at home.
Yay! for cooler temps!

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast, and I did 22 mins of my PT floor exercises. A little later I walked 1 mi to drop mail in a mailbox. I decided to break the 44 mins of PT into 2 segments like the WW weekly suggested - 45 mins seems so huge. 22 mins seems doable. But I never got back to do the second segment. I’ll do it today.
I woke up at 4:54 this am thinking about work problems, got less than 6 hrs sleep, so I’m on danger alert for compulsive eating tonight. Aiming to stick close to my plan. Last night was a small danger sign also - having seconds with evening snack.
Beck tip of the day: Tuesday Reality Check: One of our clients recently learned the following crucial fact: “I can do hard things.” YOU can do hard things. It doesn’t have to be easy for you to do it.
KELLY - GFY with the OP day, tracking and 2 mi walk. Glad you’re having nice weather 😃 Love the Lao-Tze quote!
CAROL - What a great plan for your in-laws to be able to visit and have their own place. Did they know about that feature when they moved? Did they drive with you from CO? Awww sorry about the end of outdoor swimming and water aerobics. GFY with the 2 mi and stretching. Re the hotel WOs - you could request extra towels and put them on the floor, but a standing stretch video sounds good.
AMY - hope your day goes well despite the water issue
Be well and take care, for ourselves, and for each other.
