Have to stop and think about this topic. Haven't thought much about being grounded lately but it does sound like a nice idea. I would think it would be conversation with myself about my goals and values. As far as being hyper, counted breathing, walking, and meditation helps me calm down. When it comes to me maintaining my goal weight again I need to talk about my goals and why they are important to me and rely on the habits, routines, and behaviors I've built.

How do you keep yourself grounded?
I keep myself grounded by doing the following: * Pre tracking in journal and earning blue dots and badges on WW app. * Reading and posting on three online groups. I apply many techniques I've learned in BBR that are helping me to maintain my weight. * Joining at least one virtual workshop daily, some days more. I join the same workshops daily as it's more like studio workshops, you get to see the same people. I like to hear all the stories people share on the workshops. * I chose a weekly goal to work on based on the four WW Pillars that are food, activity, sleep and mindset.

I stay grounded by:
* weighing every morning * writing to my sister at least twice daily including what I ate and the points for it * checking in with online groups every day * recording in my paper journal and online

Keeping a structured routine as much as possible. Meditation is a must for me.

think it starts with a good morning routine Yes. I get ready for the day before I have breakfast because I'm concerned if I have breakfast first I might keep putting off getting ready for the day and I would feel the day was out of control.

Was thinking about this today because last week I didn't feel like eating oatmeal for breakfast so I skipped breakfast altogether. I think eating something healthy in the morning helps your body start up and start burning fuel. I feel like if you don't eat until lunch or later, your body is holding on to fat etc. and not burning fuel. I don't know if this is true but it made sense in my head!
