What are some of the things that cue you to eat or want to eat?

When it comes to sweets it can be sight, or even hearing about the sweet. It also can depend on how I feel inside (my mood) whether or not I start obsessing about sweets. If I'm tired I'll often give into sabotaging thoughts to eat more. Sometimes I'm in a "give in" mood and don't have the discipline to say no.

What are some of the things that cue you to eat or want to eat? * Social events with people together and food in proximity * Wine seems to need food to accompany it * The odor of a food I love - especially baked goods * Driving by a place with food I like * It used to be that when I shopped I bought a diet coke and candy bar...that cue has been obliterated, thankfully!

The fragrance of foods being cooked and seasonings like herbs and garlic.

These days it's mostly hunger and the schedule. Just call me Beck-brainwashed. Also I have been meditating more intensively and it has really put the Kibosh on STs, or at least identifying them before being acted on. I have been trying to drink more water which is also helpful.

What are some of the things that cue you to eat or want to eat? * Looking in the bakery at the grocery store where I have no business to be with these sugar cravings! * TV advertisements. * Talking and thinking about food. * Magazine articles with recipes and food advertisement. * Going to my son's condo to eat with lot of sugar food.
As you can see with list above it doesn't take much to get these sugar cravings going.😃

Eating out or take out triggers foods not normally on plan.
