Hi Ann and friends,
I love stuffed green peppers, Ann. Last night I stopped at a local meat market that sells a lot of fresh prepared food and picked up a nice container of homemade chili and another container of stuffed cabbage rolls. They were big containers so DH and I both had stuffed cabbage in our "efficiency"/bedsit last night. We'll have the chili tonight. They do supply plates, bowls, etc. here. The coffee is good so I can't complain about that. :-)
I am sitting at the little kitchen table bar as my work station and once I get the dogs, I'll feel better. I have to pick up the check from the home sale today and get it deposited. I also have a few other errands to do including laundry. LUckily, the laundry is right down the hall.
We both went to bed very early last night. DH went at 9 and I read until about 10. We both woke up before 6.
Happy October - one of my favorite months! I agree with you on the weather, Ann. Maybe not as cool as you like it, but I'll be happy with 60s!
TTFN Have a good day all.

My hat goes off to both of you. Oh I bet you can't WAIT to get D&D. I'm sure they are missing their pawrents Chili will taste good on a cool night! Enjoy. Waving.......

Back from a very enjoyable hood walk with the boys. Did 2.3 miles. Noticed that the leaves are beginning to change color. Love that as it puts a smile on my face!

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Happy October!! We also woke to cool temps this morning but abundant sunshine in the low 70's now.
We had cereal breakfast - mine was Greek yogurt & blackberries w/F1. I did another load of laundry this morning. I had put it off during the week, but got one done last night and one this morning, so we're pretty caught up. I had a lunch date with two GFs today. DH needed my car, so one of my friends picked me up. I am right on the way for one of them, so she picked me up. This morning I also ordered a pair of Sonoma jeans on sale and with a coupon - and saved shipping by picking it up at the store. The store I had them sent to was right on our way home from lunch, so my friend pulled in and I dashed inside and retrieved my package and was back in the car in mere minutes.
Ann ~ You made me LOL about the reasons you love October!! Especially the mosquitoes! Your stuffed peppers sound good. I love the red and yellow and orange ones, the green ones not so much. When I buy them from the Costco Deli they only use the three that I love, so they are my favorite.
Judy ~ So happy to hear that you and DH are settled into the ESA; and soon your fur babies will be with you. Sounds good that you can work from home while Daisy gets used to it. I also hope you don't have any reaction to your shots. Seems more and more of us are getting the two together; I know DH and I will be next Tuesday. Now I'm thinking I could have done them on Thursday so if I was tired, it would be after school is over. But then, why waste my weekend?? <LOL> If I'm tired at school, I'll just suck it up and deal.
Pam ~ Sounds like good news about DH's wound?? You certainly have a good plan in place. You have certainly been his warrior and good luck charm and cheerleader through this whole ordeal! I don't know how he would have gone through it without you. I doubt very much that he would .....
I went out to lunch with my 2 GFs and I had a cup of split pea soup and half a chicken salad roll-up. It was absolutely the best chicken salad I had ever had!! The lunch was very tasty and filling. We ate on the large patio with a cool breeze. Supper tonight is still up in the air. If we have to go to pick up DH's truck we may eat at The Outback; if not we may roast hot dogs over the fire pit?? So many choices, just have to decide.
Otherwise things are good here. I am happy that all of us are vaccinated and have/had boosters as well as flu shots. We had a lengthy discussion at lunch about that very thing, and fortunately we are all on the same page. I'm grateful that we (on here) are also.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Lol Sue glad you liked my comment on why I love October.
How nice you got together with friends they picked you up and stopped so you could get your jeans. Makes me smike when friends are more than willing to accommodate.
Yes its awesome that we cafe gals are all on the same booster and shot page.
I know you will come up with a good supper.
There is a little Greek pizza shop that also makes delicious chicken salad wraps. The woman told me they add a little feta cheese and very fine diced black olives. I keep forgetting to add that when I make my own.
Wishing all sweet dreams. Going to read a bit.
