Tuesday October 5: 145.8 - no change Great job ann1953, as always! I have a question for you and the group. Do you eat differently when the seasons change? You and lani and bbbearsmom seem to manage to keep your weight steady through the year. Iβm feeling hungrier these days.

luvvinlife, I always get more hungry when the weather gets cold. No clue why that is. I think it has everything to do with coming home from school and eating a nice hearty snack LOL. With me it does taper off.

luvvinlife, I cook dinners from my collection of Clean Eating magazines. I have multiple years worth. I rotate the recipes matching the actual month we're in to the month of my magazine so it makes it easy to stay with what produce, especially, is available at different times of the year. So I have maybe 5 or 6 different collections of recipes for each month. The fall/winter months recipes are heartier, and spring and summer features more salads and grilling. Breakfast and lunch are the same no matter what the season. Tuesday, October 5: 124.2 - down - 0.4 lb.

luvvinlife,My choice of food doesn't change much except I only eat watermelon in the summer but in the fall and winter months I seem to be hungrier and crave carbs more. Usually by February or so I need to cut back and lose a little weight.

Thanks for your responses. It helps a bunch. Itβs interesting to see how differently our bodies respond to the same stimuli.

luvvinlife, I don't change things much during the year food-wise. I might make more soups in colder weather and might use the oven but rarely do use the oven as it uses more propane than the top of the stove. Maybe more salads in summer and soups in winter?

luvvinlife, lani, bbbearsmom, cathygeha, I can do hot soup even on the hottest day of the year. I have my veggie bean soup for lunch pretty near every day. Only thing I swap out are apples for fall instead of berries and stone fruit and melons in the summer.

coffee in the colder months. It's pretty cold in my house most mornings, no matter the season. Yes, I take comfort in that hot mug. Wednesday, October 6: 123.6 - down 0.6 lb. Going out to dinner again the Saturday after next for Mr. Lani's birthday. It's the two months of the year that we are the same age. I'm 10 months older.
