A WW meeting friend use to say that her produce bins were where produce went to die.

June, produce is the opposite at our house. We both crave salads and vegetables...and many other things too. The refrigerator is filled up on shopping days and empty by the end of the week. I often have two salads a day, one at lunch with protein and one at dinner. I keep gaining weight so it must not be the lettuce Ann, I hope you are ok and the tick is removed. I am so glad you noticed it was more than a bug bite. Take care and let us know. Susi and LaDonna, I do better watching Big Sky during the day or at least when I am alert. I tried to watch the first episode Friday but that was when we returned from our trip and I was so tired. I watched mindless tv instead. Today I am going to go through my social media and drop a few groups on FB. I can't let it consume my time as much as it has. That's why I rarely look at general discussion on these boards and stick to this group. Winds are only 18 mph where I am but I think they are stronger on the farmland in the west side of our valley. Lily Belle and I can take a second walk. Becky, good to see you putting yourself first this morning. Cathy, I always do the dishes and laundry before I get on the computer; otherwise, my day is off to a slow start. You need to be mindful of electricity shut offs. Revised wind forecast for up to 50 mph. I took a second shorter walk with Lily Belle and every neighbor who has not pruned their trees like the one next door and the other across the street now has pine needles and other debris in the street and everywhere. One neighbor's lawn is covered with pieces of rosemary bushes from his next door neighbor who doesn't prune. That's the least of our worries because the wind is coming on the coast from Los Angeles north. Prayers to the fire fighters still trying to save Sequoia and Kings Canyon Parks and may there not be a mass of fires south of us in urban areas.

Yesterday got really scrambly but everything worked out in the end. Right after Toots left to take the Zigster to his soccer game, DDIL texted to say that SHE would take him, but could we keep the Zigster afterward so she could go to K'ling2's tournament. So the Zigster sent Peepa back home when he got there and turned up a couple of hours later instead. We were off duty for the Kressling's noon soccer practice; Ciocie Shell took him. We had the Zigster until after the NASCAR race ended - after 6 PM.
Today I had PT at 9 AM - it was a good combination of heat pack, massage (now, THAT I could enjoy every day) and exercises, different from the ones that I have and will continue to do at home. I go again on Thursday at 10 AM. I had a couple of phone calls that needed to be taken care of ASAP and they're done. Playing fetch with Pippin and napping have also been part of the day. I'm supposed to attend a YM Zoom meeting at 5 PM - let's see if that one works out any better than the last one.
Coffee... βοΈβοΈβοΈ... it's ALWAYS time for coffee...
π·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ· Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ·ππππ·

Finally back home. The gal there said it was 'my choice' to have it removed fully or just let it be as once it's dead it doesn't carry the disease. I opted to have it removed. Just the thought of some 'critter' inside of me just was wrong on too many levels.
She asked if I wanted to be numb for pain and I said no. I'd rather deal with the pain all at once. She was as gentle as she could be and finally it was removed. I could just about 'see it' when she showed it to me. Carl was spot on when he said he removed the body but the head was still in there. That's what she was left to get out.
She called in an Rx just a one shot deal as the tick was very small. If it were large she would have put me on a full regiment of pills.
Carl is off now picking that up along with what we need at Hannaford's and Tractor Supply. I thank God for him. He is always willing to step up to the plate with no complaints.
She did say that symptoms of Lyme disease are similar to the flu...tired muscle aches and pain and just feeling off. I laughed and said I feel that way a LOT and she agreed most people do. She did say that there is a blood test that can be given to me after three weeks or so. She couldn't do it now as it's too early in the game. You bet I will have that done to ease my mind.
Thanks for listening and I appreciate all the warm comments and prayers.

Mercy. . . Just lost a long post. No Carl Z option onmy iPad.
Ann Thx for the update. I am relieved that you had it removed & will have a blood test.
Audrey We also love salad & vegetables. I always love to read about your healthy sides for dinner. Lol. . Have had to accept that my days are full caring for this one-arm bandit.
Mj Goodthing that you are so flexible. I bet that is nice to have the kinks kneaded and warmed. My mom loved the massage & heat segment of her PT.

Thanks LaDonna.
June hate losing posts. Happens more on my phone.
Lol Audrey nope I hope the rest of this week is drama free.
The worse part was waiting and going in alone due to covid.
I plan on calling my PCP Wednesday to see just what the test involves and if I can get it at her office rather than urgent care.
