Sandy, I'm totally clueless about what Fred is having done, but if it's going to make life better for him, then I'm glad he's able to go for it. I'm going to look it up. You probably explained back when I was out of touch.

Fun QOTD! I loved reading everyone's stories.
1. Tell how you met your mate, partner or friend? Cute story, but the short version is Mike came in to Macy's (where I was working) to buy wine glasses and we hit it off. We talked for 20 minutes, he left the store and came back in to buy more wine glasses and I knew I had him. When you know, you know!
2. What do you like about the city, town or area you live in? It has plenty of restaurants, lots of stores, lots to do and it's not too far from the beach. Plus I live close to one of my daughters and her family.
3. How did you come to live there? My 2nd marriage was going south, so I decided to move to Florida to be closer to my kids and grandkids.
Sandy, Glad Fred's procedure went well and that Bridgette is doing better.
Sharon, I hope you can get some better sleep tonight. Bummer that Matt won't get to play and you have had to change your plans on going to Iowa.
Vicki, Sending positive vibes your way. It always seems hard to come out of a funk and you have had your share of suffering over the past months. ((HUGS))
Gail, Have fun at your outdoor concert. I love outdoor concerts. They just resumed the monthly concerts at Sunset Beach, so hopefully we can head over to one before it gets too cold. November will be our last chance. Nope, never been to a consciousness raising group but I have been to a meditation retreat, which may have some similar attributes.

Vicki, My Trader Joe's Pumpkin Spice Rooibos tea came today. OMG...it is so good. Thanks so much for telling us about it.
Jane, I am so happy you are able to get tickets to the shows you want to see.

Gail, I actually attended āconsciousness raising meetingsā. I moved to CA in 1978 and probably in early 80s I joined NOW (National Organization of Women. It was the time of ERA (Equal Rights Amendment). We met at the Y. There were few of us. I recall a nurse, a woman in the military and me, a āhousewifeā at that time. My DH was a union leader and they were behind the ERA. Something that seemed so basic didnāt pass.
BTW I rushed out to buy TJs Pumpkin Tea yesterday but didnāt like it. I drink it plain and just didnāt like the flavor. Perhaps Iām too used to the Ginger tea I drink daily. I drank Green Tea for the longest time but my doctor says Caffeine free only and Iāve yet to find Caffeine Free Green Tea. Oh well.
