Good morning!
Yesterday my DS, 22, and I decided to get the heck out of town and go to a cute little place called Mount Dora. It's on a lake, lots of boutiques and little restaurants. We walked for about an hour and just had a lovely time (except it got very hot). We bought a gnome who DS named George. Also got a toy for our Jack Russell and he loves it! It was a lovely way to spend the day.
Today is dentist and my drywall man showed up to begin removing my popcorn ceilings. Yay! TTYS.

Thanks Phyl for starting us today. I'd say I overslept again but it's getting to be my normal wake up time. I almost got up before 5:00 but finally fell back to sleep. My shoulder bothered me & I couldn't find a comfortable way to lay. I'm reaping the benfits of aging, but shouldn't complain as some are lots worse off then me.
Marm, I had a cortisone shot last December but it lasted less then a month. Maybe today I'll find out when PT will start. I'll be there so often I could pack a suitcase & just stay!
PT this morning & then I'll see what else my body says I can do today. We should go to the store - didn't make it yesterday.
Hope all have a good day
P.S. Sharga, you came in while I was typing. What a fun day you had. Been a long time since I could do something like that but DD keeps asking me to. Getting a new ceiling may be a dusty/messy job, but will be nice when done.

Good morning. I don’t have much to say except that I’ll be leaving soon for the 55 Alive driving class which gives me a discount on my car insurance. I don’t remember the official name of it right now, but it takes 4 hours if you keep it up every 3 years. BBL to read more.

GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES, YESTERDAY WAS GOOD,started at the clinic 8 am.gave a vile of blood.then waited till 9 to see my oncologist, could have knocked my socks off,he came through the door in regular clothes.first 2 times he was in a suit.seemed more relaxed, most of the doctors here wear regular clothes.
my platelet count is up a little from August but still in the safe zone. so if I need hip surgery I AM OK.yes platelets can go up during surgery.DR.BEN looked up my chart this all started in MAY OF 2018 . he wants to keep me under 600,000kul,so stay on the same amount of meds.
told him about my back issues and bloating.he gave me some stretching exercises to do. he felt my spleen and said it is still small so that is good.then he put one hand over my tummy and with the other hand tapped on it.hear that you sound like a drum, that means you are bloated
he also said my grastro doctor is a very good doctor, that made me feel better.
finally made up my mind I will like DR.BEN.I asked if he seen any patients with the covid and platelet problems he lost 8,but their inmune system was really low.
came home to pick up a few things and went to ROCHESTER.pulled in Tjmax square and DON said "I suppose you want to go the quilt shop?" I said wasn't
That your idea when you said to come to ROCHESTER?" I went in and bought some fabric.he smiled.
lunch time I think he wanted to go to noodles and company,so of we head, got there sign said open, hour sign said Wednesday open 12-8,locked up tighter then a drum ,chairs on the tables. looked at another window and drive thru or curbside only.
so off to firehouse subs again. I DID want to check out Tjmax and Trader joe's. by the time we go in the car I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN LET'S GO HOME.
good thing we did,it gotten winder coming home. heard on morning weather Rochester had 46 miles an hour wind.
dinner last night was at olive garden we had a good anniversary. just wish we could have gone to HAYWARD,wasn't meant to be ,always next year if the lord is willing.THANK YOU LADIES FOR ALL THE NICE ANNIVERSARY WISHES.

Phyl, Good to see you here. Happy to hear you like this Dr. sounds like a good one. Well I wonder why yur hubby would think you wanted to buy some Fabric? Ha,ha. I love Noodles and Co. I'm sure ours is only Curb side to. That is if they are still open.
Shraga, Ahh, What fun that would be w/your Son. My Son can't walk but a short distance. Yes I'm sure you will be happy to get rid of the Popcorn Ceiling. Never had that but I remember when they came in, I like it. But from others hear they want to get rid of it to.
Marlene, Sorry so many problems w/that shoulder. Hope everything works out for ya.
Mary, We've taken the Driving class twice. I think you had ask about on line and I forgot to answer. Bipp did that, Hated it as it took so long. Class in person is the best way I think. those 4 hr's seems to fly by.
DH mowed and wanted help from me to use Spreader. I took pain med earlier thinking I would be ok? But I did get biggest part of the back 40. When DH saw me. All wrong. I was doing it like mowing. And was To be several feet apart. Echm, Needles to say I wasted a lot.
Sleep Well..Marm~~
