do you have to pick up wires/cords? Theresa can't vacuum because of her back.
JIM IS pooped after doing it has some heart problems. one of the kids bought Jim one that is made for the lawn, they have A ditch along the road to mow.JIM LOVES IT.

Marm, prayers for your DD. Things happen so fast. That is worrisome not knowing what's going on & being so far away. Let us know what you find out.
I have an appointment with the nephrologist soon. I may rethink taking an antibiotic since I just read that former Pres. Bill Clinton was hospitalized for sepsis that started as an UTI. Of course that is what my friend in TX died of.
Yesterday's PT was a little disappointing. It was time for me to do a function evaluation. I'm thinking Medicare probably requires that. Each question had a numerical value. My total was exactly the same as when I first started therapy. That didn't surprise me cause I haven't felt it was helping like the other times when I went. I got the feeling the therapist has no more tricks in her bag to try & help me either but I did sign up for two more weeks. She suggested I may want to consult a neurological surgeon who only works on spines. She thought the spurs between the affected vertebrae may be able to be removed & that would relieve the pressure on the nerve. She said if he can, that is a non-invasive surgery. I may make an appointment with him but I'm not keen on the idea of having any back surgery. She assured me this procedure is not like normal back surgery. I'll think about it but won't rush into anything right away.
Back home from my other doctor appointment & lunch is over. The doctor was very pleased with my lab results. What was low & needed to be higher came up, & the high ones went down. Kidney function is better & within normal range for my age. He said the fact that my bladder doesn't empty when I go, could very well cause bacteria to grow. I feel better about that now. I will see him in 6 months & he wants another ultra sound on my kidney's to check on the cyst I have. He said he doubts that I will ever have go on dialysis. I needed this good report after yesterday's PT visit.
Phyl, we kept the vacuum we got from Walmart. It had to be ordered online. It is an iRobot Roomba i7/i8 & the serial number is 1755020B210417N308993. With such a long number I would think part is the model number but some may also identify my specific machine. Till the machine is satisfied with the room mapping, I think it operates kind of crazy. We may not have waited long enough for the one from Kohl's. It probably would have been OK too. I still haven't named all the rooms but when I do it will clean whichever room I tell it to. I'm thinking the kitchen & bathroom may need cleaning twice a week & the rest just once. It doesn't say I have to pick up electrical cords but I do so it can clean closer to the baseboards. I am set for Saturday the 23rd. Are we going to meet same place, same time? DH said Baraboo would be a possibility too. You choose which. The only place we know of in Baraboo would be on Hwy 33 on the east side of town. I don't remember if their booths/tables have cushioned seats or not. I'll have to look up the name if you want to go there - it's been a long time since we were there. They have pretty good pie too!
It got rather chilly last night. We turned the furnace on for a few minutes this morning. I was cold during the night so may put an extra blanket on the bed tonight. I put warmer socks on this morning - a pair Bonnie gave me for my birthday. They are toasty warm. Just what my cold feet need. I have ground beef thawing to make taco soup. I hope my memory is correct cause I can't find the recipe. It's not very complicated - brown the meat & add the canned ingredients. Soup weather is here!

Marm, I’m sorry about your Dd having a situation to be hospitalized. I pray it is something minor and she will be well soon.
Marlene, it was cool enough here this morning for me to turn the furnace on, however now I see warmer temps ahead. That pleases me! Too bad your pt isn’t doing much yet. I’d be leary of the back surgery too, unless there’s some proof of success, but that’s hard to say too. Good luck with it all.
I woke up at 4:00 today and tried, but didn’t succeed with, going back to sleep. I got up, tossed and turned, tossed and turned some more before I finally got up and showered for the day. I left home early enough to go to Kohls on my way to get a Covid test at 11. That done I stopped at Wendys drive through and got a apple pecan chicken salad to bring home for lunch. Haven’t done much since except to sweep the floor and work my puzzle a little, very little, it’s hard. Might give up on it. I have much on my mind that I should do the next two days, but no ambition to start. More sleep would have helped. BB tomorrow.

Mary, do you have to quarantine after the COVID test till you have surgery? DS had to when he had foot surgery in January & someone else - I forget who - had to more recently. Will be praying for you Monday.
Sun came out & it was nice this afternoon. Taco soup is made & tastes good. Yes I had to sample it. Haven't done much else today.
Phyl, I added a note about electrical cords in my original message that you might want to check out.

Thank you for the prayer's. DD is home now she's been in the hospt. a few days. She was Hemerging and in pretty bad shape passed out a few times. And at the hospital they couldn't give her blood fast enough. Bleeding out more than what they could put in. Anyhow surgery Scraping the Uterus, did stop it. I just hope it keeps working. I wasn't as bad as DD given blood and all. But had the same and that lasted a short time. She needs sleep as didn't get any in the hospt. Anyhow, You know how it is when you don't know, everything is running through your head. She did call earlier.. Again Thanks for prayers... A norm Fri. w/WWer's. I like the meetings. DH went to breakfast w/his friend. I made a stop @ Kohls. A nice Purse.
Thanks Marlene: Yeah, It makes a person think twice of meds. Maybe it might be by Laser to work on the Spurs. And if one Therapist doesn't do well another might. Different ones has different ways or ideas. You know you did get relief before. Good to hear test reading is good.
Phyl, Enjoy co. if they do come. Well no cleaning for me today.
Mary, Again that Salad sounds good. A Must try.
Again Thanx~~ Sleep Well~~ Marm~~~

Marm, good to hear that Dd is home and recovering. Is she light weight like yourself? I will keep praying for her that she gets her strength back to normal again soon.
Marlene, yes, I am suppose to quarantine as best I can. But, having the test today means it is only tomorrow and Sunday that I need to stay in. (I’ll sneak out tomorrow for my mail when I don’t expect anyone to be around.). I’ve been picking up things all week, things I might need, mainly food that I or Jazmin will want. The only thing I might need for the Dd who lives close by me to get is milk, maybe fresh fruit. I don’t want to buy it too far ahead. Goodnight.
