I have a very busy Saturday coming up so I thought I'd ck in now in case the day gets away from me. Uncle Glenn is home but will have 9 more days of IV antibiotics and I will be one of the ones administering. I have to go tomorrow and learn what to do from my cousin's wife who will do the first dose. She used to be a healthcare worker and is comfortable doing but wont be able to do it everyday so she enlisted my help. Lots more going on with him as well and he lives alone. We are going to have our hands full and my time will be limited but I certainly will do my part to help. I have some church clerical, definitely need to get some housework done among other things. Will be mindful of food choices and strive for an OP day.
June, I hope your load eases up soon. thanks for getting us going.
Bee, Ill "do" along with you.
Wishing all a healthy peaceful Saturday.

I will KOKO...weight this morning (fifth day in a row) was 157.4.
Last night I went to bed but couldn't sleep. Checked the phone a bit before 1am as a message came in from my brother-in-law regarding my sister. She had the hysterectomy yesterday and he said that was cancer but they believe it is not the type that spreads...they wait for pathology report. The tumor broke during surgery so they cleaned her pelvis well, did a radical hysterectomy, removed her omentum, and appendix but left her lymph nodes in place. They will get the pathology report then decide on whether or not to do chemotherapy. She should be on the mend and healing and hopefully sleeps well tonight. She is four years younger than I am. Fingers and toes crossed, positive energy being sent her way, waiting for more information.
My sister-in-law never writes but sent a message last night that she is staying with her mother and has had to put her into hospice care (at home). The mom is over 100, has parkinson's disease that is worsening, has memory lapses and is combative. Her brother is the usual caretaker but he is away for two weeks on a trail drive in Wyoming.
I am fine...hubby is gardening...I tried on the copper colored Traveler pants to show my husband before hemming and putting in new elastic in the waistband and he said, "Save them for if you gain the weight back - don't alter them as they are "fluffy"." I put them into the donate box and may add the skirt in the same color that fits but has a faded hemline due to the sun coming through the closet window. Then need to see if the matching jersey jacket and tops go with anything I own or whether they should be donated, too.
No personals...but I am thinking of you and hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning all. Slept poorly as strange dreams that I don't recall happened. I'll do what I am able to accomplish today and the rest can wait.
Cathy praying for good results re: your sister your SIL's mom. Awesome that you are still altering your clothing. I donate all clothing that I don't wear when I switch over my closets. That works well for me to weed things out.
LaDonna I hope your day isn't as hectic as you anticipate. Happy to hear that Uncle Glenn is home and you are one of the ones to administer his Rx. I'm sure he will appreciate seeing your smiling face.
Bee you and I shall have the same type of day.
June thanks for the start. Sending prayers your way.
Wishing AWF a pleasant peaceful and OP day.

Cathy Sending a wave of positive energy and prayer for your DS and you. Adding prayers for your SIL. Caretaking is taxing in the best situation.
I think that black, navy, or cream go with a copper jacket. If you are donating the pants any way, go ahead and alter them. Enjoy them regardless of what DH thinks.
Bee Hope your day has sunshine and laughter. Lol. . . That is my goal every day. Some days get a bit overwhelming though.
LaDonna Sending prayers for your Uncle Glen. So glad that you can help with the IV, but do not need to do it all.
Ann Hope any lingering strangeness from odd dreams soon evaporates. How is your arm feeling?
Waving hi to Audrey, Susi, Mj, and Becky

Saturday's goals Recoup a little bit of energy. Sit in the sunshine. Watch a funny show. We are now doing more PT and it involves R switching splints. Thx for the prayers. It has been a bit overwhelming. And I am "tuckered out" right now. Likely will be better when I finally get to see the endondtist on Monday.

June summed up how I feel as well...'tuckered out' which reminded me of my mom as she said that all the time. Thanks for the memory. We can be tuckered out together
Good luck on Monday!
My arm is still sore to the touch. Doesn't look infected and I continue to put ointment on it. Thanks for asking. In a bit we will hit the pavement and walk Benjamin. Waving. Audrey hope you are feeling more yourself!

Good morning, June - Bee - LaDonna - Cathy - Ann - Audrey - Becky - Susi - and AWL!!!
Prayers continue for you and your loved ones, and thank you for your prayers for me and mine...
Extra prayers for any in the path of fire and storm(s)... and for those who need extra helpings of divine intervention at this time... and a few extra for all students during the 2021-2022 year... and for those who mourn... and for peace in our nation.
Prayers, too, for R's recovery and rehab, and for Cathy's DSis' recovery and medical plan...
Today is Son#2's 44th birthday!
💞🐵🙈🐵🙉🐵🙊🐵💞
Yesterday ended up way busier than we'd anticipated. We went for puppy food, a bag of treats for training, and a couple of tug toys. We picked up lunch. We washed bedding and vacuumed edges and corners. And after we took the Mouseketeer home, we got the Kressling and his brothers. We kept the Zigster while the other two went to strength training and when we dropped him off Son#1 wanted to continue the chatting he'd started at our house. And then the Kressling, who'd gone to the WHS homecoming football game after training, came to stay the night. And through all of that, I never got a nap <sigh>.
Today there is another short list of errands. NASCAR starts with Camping World Truck series at 1 PM (Talladega AL) and Xfinity at 3 PM (TX Motor Speedway).
It's only 9:10 AM and we've had Son#1 and K'ling2 come through. The Kressling is still sleeping; Pippin tried to wake him up but we saved him. It is a BEAUTIFUL day here in NJ.
Coffee... ☕️☕️☕️... breakfast... and more coffee...
🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷🍂🎃🍂🕷

Mj Love that your "open back door" means that a lot of family flows in and out. Wonder how Kressling's enjoyed homecoming. My great nephew and his date looked "geeky" cute. She looked like a doll. Enjoy the races.

Happy to report that today has been busy, but not exhausting. What a nice change of pace.
Morning was full of caretaking: Bath, nail trim, woundcare, 2 PTs, cleaning splints. Organized & readied all wound care items. Laundered all my towels & clothes.
Midmorning was housework. Cooked breakfast & lunch, plus baked a cake to use up leftover coffee. Used up some leftovers, froze others. Sanitized bathroom & kitchen. Swept floor. Ran dishwasher and washed up leftovers' dishes.
Afternoon. School emails & grading. Check in phone calls.
Lot accomplished, but feels good not to be so "tuckered out.".
Hope everyone is having a good Saturday.

Sorry read it all but no time for personals. Getting together with Linda and Mike for a glass of wine and some great conversation.
Sweet dreams.
