Good morning friends. Slept well and woke up to a temperature of 37. Nope, not complaining in the least
Today we will hit Hannaford's and get some french bread for our Italian 'grinders' for supper Other than that? Just walks with Benjamin and a few chores will be complete.
So happy that there is a good solution to your pay pal snafu, Sue. You are wise to keep it in their capable hands.
Waving and shall CBL

Back from Hannaford's and found all we needed and also got 4 cans of Hunts Fire Roasted Tomatoes. The other ones they had were seasoned and I prefer the plain.
It's all put away and now I'm about to have lunch.
Waving....such as beautiful day out there.

Good morning!
We also slept very well last night, which is unusual for my DH who suffers from insomnia regularly. It is a beautiful, sunny day and cool, though temps will get up to 80 mid-afternoon. I went to town this morning to get a pedi and pick up groceries. This afternoon, I plan to do more flower bed weeding and mulching and perhaps pick some more pecans. They are predicting rain for tomorrow, so I will save indoor chores for then.
Sue - Glad your order problem is being handled.

Hey all,
I'm back from walking the doggies and going to the dentist - what we call the "Crown" capital of America. LOL Every time we go in, they try to sell us another crown. Dentists have become so entrepreneurial. I think they need to pay for the fancy equipment. I put them off a bit on a crown. I made a trip to TJ Maxx to find a warm jacket type cardigan sweater for work. I can't dig through storage containers right now. I found a nice one at a good price along with some inexpensive depuff gel for my under eyes and a bag of black Italian licorice for DH. Doesn't take much. Now I am having a ham and cheese sandwich in hotel and working at the same time. I bought ham and cheese and bread at Hannaford's so can manage that in the room. We have a kitchenette and microwave but it's not conducive for cooking other than things like this and soup in the microwave, etc. The sandwich hit the spot as I was starving. The dogs rode along with me on my errands. They love going and don't mind waiting in the car with windows cracked and it's plenty cool enough out now at about 50. Like you said, Ann, it's a beautiful breezy day.
I finished my book and started A Gentleman in Moscow. I started it ages ago and never finished it but I need a good read right now. I don't have patience for too fluffy stuff at the moment. lol Sometimes I love that stuff! :-) All of my bookclub loved A Gentleman in Moscow so hope I do, too.
TTFN - Have a great day!

Pam, so glad to hear about Debbie's husband though it is still scary to have sepsis. Our DD had it a few years ago and was hospitalized for a while. They called a code on her which was very scary. Glad he is on the mend. Also, great news on your DH's foot. May the healing continue! And, I cracked up about Jude not having "game" - sisters are brutal! He is cute that he shares those things with his sister. No kiss goodnight. Sweet, but Jude is right. Sounds like the girl liked him a lot and probably appreciated his great manners.
Sue, good that you are solving the Paypal issue. Sometimes we feel helpless about this stuff. Good to get a good person.
TTFN...Ann, enjoy the day! We may have a grinder/sub/hoagie/ from Jersey Mike's again. We liked those much better than Subway. Hadn't been before! We used to like Subway but the one near us became very scrimpy with sandwich fillings. Hardly anything in it. I guess they vary franchise to franchise. Some are much better than others.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
I am home from school and checking email for any notifications regarding my Pay Pal issue. But I noticed that Pay Pal has contacted the seller who has until the 29th to respond. I also know that Master Card is watching my account to ensure that the erroneous charge gets removed, otherwise they will remove it. But all that may take time. Ann ~ I know you are so very happy about the cool down! So happy you found what you wanted at Hannaford's. Sometimes it just takes perseverance, eh??
Judy ~ I know what you mean about crowns, and dentists. I've had more than my share of new dentists recommending procedures that my previous dentist did not. I also spent my share of $$ on such. Yesterday when my DH went for his cleaning, a new young dentist who has joined our dentist (who is semi-retiring) urged him to have a tooth redone that our dentist had told him since it wasn't bothering him, we'd just watch it. The new guy had the appointment made and shook his hand before he realized what was going on. He said they wanted him to come back this week (but he put them off a couple weeks)! After getting home and thinking about it, he is undecided. He still remembers our dentist telling him he wouldn't do anything until it was needed. Why can't they all be honest?? and up and above board??
Pam ~ Great news that your DH's foot! Once a month would be a blessing for you. Also hopefully put him on the road to recovery?? That is great news about your whole house Generac generator. That would be such a great thing for you.
I went for my exercise class this morning and we had a new instructor. She did a good enough job, but dismissed us 15 minutes early which disappointed me. I would like to have my full hour! Consequently I got to school much too early, and had time to kill.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Pam happy your weather is good and that you are saving indoor chores for tomorrow when it rains. Hopefully it won't be a downpour all day long. Nice you got a pedicure in What color did you choose? My fingernails really need attention. Unfortunately I've not heard from Mindy, so I'm just dealing with them. Judy I hear you on the 'crowns'. We go in December for a cleaning and I'm sure he will FIND stuff to do. I also agree that not all Subways are created equal. At one time we had three of them and all were super as they were competing with one another. Two closed and the one that is open you need a spy glass to find the meat! I got burned twice and we won't go back. The one in Leominster is still pretty good but too far unless Carl happens to be in that area. Sue so happy that competent people are handling your pay pal issue. I'm sure it will be resolved in your favor. It's just so frustrating when things like that happen. That's not right for the new instructor to cut the class short. Wonder why that happened? Perhaps she didn't realize it went for a solid hour! I also don't get why people just can't be 'up front' about things. Sheesh. I understand how DH feels. I am now going to start making the 'grinders' Carl is out walking Benjamin. I just didn't have it in me to go. Tomorrow is another day.

I finished picking pecans under one tree, for now, though more may fall with tomorrow's predicted rain. I have two more trees to go. I also weeded flower beds and mulched them and then watered the garden. I worked hard to trace a sweet potato vine to it's source and was rewarded with a potato, after much digging. DH was sitting on the swing sorting pecans so we sat and enjoyed a beer together, chatting until time to go in and start supper.
We had ham and eggs and corn muffins for supper and it was delicious, but pointy. We watched a couple of New Tricks episodes and I'm now jammified and ready to read a bit before hitting the sack. All the exercise, fresh air and sunshine has me a bit tired, but in a good way.
Ann - I chose a dusty rose for my toenails this time.
