This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning friends! Happy Wednesday!
Well it looks like I'm getting an especially early start to my day. I might require a nap later Lol. I haven't been up this early in really long time, so I'm not going to complain. Just mostly hoping I'm not starting a new cycle of this madness. Thankfully no real plans for the day. No place I have to be and no errands that need to be run. So just planning on hanging out around the house today unless something else pops up.
There must be something blooming right now that's triggering my allergies. Maybe 3 straight days with lots of outside time was a little much. I bet I've sneezed 100 times since we got home from the hike yesterday. I feel fine and thankfully don't have gooey eyes, headache or nasal drainage or anything, so IDK what all the sneezing is about.
I hope everybody has a really good day. I'll check back later after a few cups of coffee.

Good morning! Lora, I loved seeing your post here ready to go when I first checked this morning. It made me smile. But, sorry you were up so early! Something must be blooming messing with your allergies. I used to think October would be the time that allergies would be better since it's Fall. But here, October is a bad allergy time too. I have a half day with students today, but then staff meetings this afternoon. The good news is that I am caught up with everything, so after the staff meeting, it shouldn't be a long day. Waving hi to all!

Good Morning All...I got to bed really late after falling asleep watching TV, then waking and doing several other things...ugh. I should just make myself go to bed when DH does. So, since I got up early (not as early as you Lora) for my gym class, I may have to join you for that nap - lol! We did kick-boxing this morning and I expect to be sore tomorrow.
Lora - Sorry about the early morning and the allergy symptoms. Yep, I think the 3 days outside could have done it. Thanks for the drain advice. I have cleaned hair out of drains plenty in the past (with 2 girls with long hair), but this drain curves immediately - I did finally get the funky cover off and am off to Lowes to see if I can find the thing you were talking about (sounds like a mini/slim snake). I did buy a SHROOM cover for that drain --it is for the upstairs bathroom that no one uses except when DD comes from Boston-- and that is what she uses at her house to catch all of her thick, long hair. First, I need to make sure I have it all cleared out though (more than what I got with some tweezers with the cover still on the drain - lol!
Jill - yippee for a half day with students and being caught up. Even with staff meetings, it always made it an easier day once the students were gone. You may even get a few minutes to work on whatever in your room.
OK...off to the grocery store and Lowes.

Susie - oh dang, an immediate curve in the sink drain would make that a lot more likely to catch and hold on to hair and gunk, I would think. You know, I just had one girl and the stuff that I pulled out her tub drain on too many occasions truly looked like something out of a horror movie. Haha. The commode in the same bathroom has been running recently and the flush handle has a bit wonky and broken maybe since we bought the house. Anyway, I just ordered a replacement flapper assembly and a new handle, they should both deliver Friday, so let's hope I ordered the right things and will be able to take care of that fix myself and not have to call in a plumber.
Jill - I hope everything goes smoothly with the classes and the staff meeting. And that you get out of the staff meeting early enough to carve out some time for YOU.

Well we're just having all kinds of fun here today. I ordered a new vacuum the other day and I thought if wasn't supposed to deliver until next week, but FedEx dropped it off just after my last post, so I broke open the box and got it all put together and took it on it's maiden voyage around the main room.
While I was in cleaning mode I went ahead and cleaned CCs pen where he eats and sleeps. I have to close his little drawbridge doors when I do, because he can spend all day out and about in the den, sleeping under the chair, hanging out in his kitten condo, laying on the sofa, etc. But the very second I decide to clean out his pen, he thinks he has to be all up in the middle of it and fully in the way. Just like a toddler, right? They will absolutely ignore every single toy that's spread all over the floor, but as soon as you put it back in the toy box, it's the very thing that they have to have right that very minute. Lol
Anyway, for a day when I was planning to pretty much just relax, hang out and watch movies I've actually accomplished plenty.

Hello! I know I've been MIA the last day or so writing wise but I did read tho. It's been busy with Parent Teacher Conferences and preparing them..we had 2 parents that didn't come today or we would have even busier but since they didn't come it gave me a chance to get ready for tomorrow's conferences.
Last year I had to prepare all of them myself and do all of them myself. Now my new partner is more organized then myself and I was a bit confused about the way she had the papers and she had to go downstairs to do extended care. She asked if the new staff member could do it instead. Originally she said she could but one of the staff members quit the day before so the new staff member will work with the assistant teacher in that classroom.
So I did kind of mess up her system..oh well!! Today we did them together so I could see how she was showing and explaining to the parents..there are certain papers that I don't share with them because most of it I feel is overwhelming for them and I really dont feel is of much use to most of them. Even the papers we are supposed to share can be a bit overwhelming but I show them where it says where they need the help.
Other than that nothing else is really new that I can think of. Have a restful night!
