Hello - Hope you are all doing well today
Sue - I'm glad you are clearing your passageways in the house, it really does help when you need to assist someone in moving about. That's interesting that the Chesapeake Bay froze over. I live closer to Washington, D.C., but we used to go up to Baltimore sometimes in the 1960s. Hope the new sewing room works for you
Ginny - I'm glad you survived the evening, and I hope you'll enjoy what you made. I also hope you don't have any major problems from the rain.
Ruth - Hope you are getting some crafting in today.
Phyl - Thinking of you and hoping that you'll check in with us
It's partly sunny/partly cloudy here today, but the rain is over. I didn't have water laying in some parts of the yard that I sometimes do, so the ground must have been able to absorb the rain we had. There were other places in the back part of my property that did have some water laying though.
Thanks for your good thoughts about my injuries from the fall. I tripped on something that would normally not have been where it was because I'd had to move it from it front of the radiator (where it had been this summer) since I had to turn the radiator on. Just reminds me that I need to clear things out of this house
I finished the two Fall Frolic blocks this morning. While I was making them I asked myself whose bright idea it was to make 2 quilt tops - mine I am happy with them both though. For the one with the pumpkin/sunflower print you can see that I'm going to be using 3 solid fabrics (orange, purple, gold) for the blocks. There are 9 blocks total so I'll do 3 blocks in each solid color along with the print and white. For the acorn blocks, I'm only going to be using gold and orange as my solid colors, so I'll have to figure out how many to make of each one and how many to use both.
Take care everyone
