Good morning WW friends and welcome to November! I slept well just woke up early. I feel refreshed so hopefully I'll 'last' through shopping. We need to hit WM and Hannaford's. Praying I find all I need on the 'list'. What's annoying is having to write it all down again and again.......
We are having chicken patties on a burger bun with sweet potato air fries. I 'found' a bag of the chicken patties in the big freezer. We really do need to use up what we have in there.
Waving and shall CBL
Wishing all a peaceful and OP day.

Hello friends!
I had a lot of reading to do to catch up with all of you. Judy- Glad Doug turned up safe and sound. He's lucky to have such a devoted family. I am so excited for you to be moving soon! And it's great that your boss is willing to be accommodating in order to keep you on. Sue - My DSIL is also a Spartan and I'm sure was overjoyed with the victory over the sworn rival team. I also have some online training I need to get done. Thanks for the reminder! I will try to imitate you and not be last minute getting it done. Ann - I hope your weather has improved. We are having a gorgeous, cool, sunny FALL day. I am so glad to have summer on it's way out. Sorry you didn't get to have your get-together, but I am also one who would have opted to stay home in the rain.
I was so excited to return to yoga Thursday evening! We had a full house and did lots of stretching which I could feel the next day. I pretty much got everything packed up for the camp that afternoon and evening.
Friday morning, Debbie and I walked, I hauled all the camp stuff to the car, showered and headed to town for my dental cleaning. When I returned, I had a quick lunch and DH and I headed to BTR. We dropped off a check for Leah's college fund at UBS, which we do for each of the DGKs in their birthday month. Then we stopped at the new Total Wine store, which was a zoo on a Friday afternoon. We got several bottles of wine, bourbon, cognac and my favorite liqueurs, as well as some specialty beer for DH. It was all much cheaper than the stores near us, so we stocked up. Unfortunately, as we were driving to the camp, DH checked the receipt and found we had been charged double for a bottle of cognac. He called the store and they said we could stop on our way home Sunday for a refund. After we got things unpacked at the camp, we went to our fav hole-in-the-wall neighborhood bar, The Ugly Pirate, for pizza and beer. We always meet nice people to chat with and Friday was as usual. Plus, there were turtle races and our pizza and beer got us several free tickets with A, B & C on them. The turtles are marked A, B, C and if your turtle wins, you get to pick one of 100 keys and try to open the pirate's chest which contains cash. Friday night's pot was $175. Neither of our keys was the winning one and it was quite chilly out, so we headed home without waiting to find out if there was a winner.
Saturday, we had sausage, biscuits and eggs and then went to town to replenish our stock of shrimp and crabmeat. DH headed the shrimp and I packed them into freezer boxes to bring home. They were big and cheaper and fresher than we can get at home. I started a new Jodi Picoult book called The Two Ways and enjoyed a short nap. We met our old friends who were pre-Katrina camp neighbors for dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Avocado's in Bay St. Louis. We spent 3 hours laughing and talking and catching up. Our waitress was very sweet and indulged us. We had not seen each other in over 2 years, though Mary and I stay in touch with phone and facebook. Their younger son recently moved near the Ugly Pirate and his bride-to-be just had a baby boy. He also has a son with his first wife. Anyway, they will be visiting often, so we plan to get together more. Mary is my friend that has had serious heart issues, surgeries, etc. and she and her DH have adopted their granddaughter who is now 13.
Yesterday, after a leisurely breakfast of cheese grits, biscuits and sausage, we headed home. We stopped back at Total Wine, got our refund, another type of bourbon and some beer DH thought DD2 might enjoy. We ended up using a coupon I found in the shopping cart and got 2 free bourbon glasses. We should be stocked with alcohol for the holiday season and for months to come, lol.
After I got everything unloaded and put away, Debbie and I walked, so I only missed one day of walking. Next, I gathered up the pots of mums, ant poison and some artificial mums/fall flowers and went to the cemetery. I could tell my aunt had been there to put artificial mums on her parents' and grandparents' graves and I added some live ones. My dad always did this and I promised him I would continue. I took the summer flowers from my parents graves and ended up adding them to an aunt & uncle's graves which had nothing on them. I plan to try to find more mums today for their graves as well as another aunt (my godmother) and uncle's. I don't understand why their families neglect to do this. I got my parent's graves decorated and walked around the family plot poisoning several piles of fire ants. When I got home I picked some pecans so DH would have some to crack & peel this morning. It gives him something useful to do and keeps him off his foot.
Debbie and I walked at 7:00 AM and it was barely daylight when we started. I have laundry going now and will need to go into town for groceries and Rx pickup. We're having taco salads for dinner. I had yogurt, blueberries and muesli for breakfast and have some chicken soup from the freezer for lunch. After a weekend of pizza, restaurant meals, and drinks I am .4 over goal this morning, so am reining it all in big-time today. I also have yoga this evening and am hoping the regular yoga with it's muscle-toning will help me get back down under goal weight. I am also curious to see what effect, if any, the new WW plan will have.
Time to re-boot laundry. If I don't make it back, have a great day!

Pam so good to read all about what's going on. .4 over goal isn't bad at all...that being said, I know that you want 'wiggle room' with the holidays coming up. So much 'chatter' going on re: the new program. I will see what changes pop up on my app as I no longer attend meetings. If need be, and I really want to dish out the $$$ I'm sure I can find it on amazon or ebay. We shall see. Wonderful that you now have added yoga to the mix. I'm sure that will help along with the walking and planning. Wise to give DH things to do to feel useful while remaining seated! Win win in my books. We are home from WB and Hannaford. Found all we needed with the exception of Carl's A&W root beer 0. No biggie as he does have several cans and a few bottles left. He tends to hoard (as I do with Hunts Fire Roasted Tomatoes) LOL. I was lucky enough to score a few more cans which made my After putting it all away I took Benjamin outside to do his thing. Lunch is one and done and now Carl is brewing a pot of coffee. Time to sit back and veg. I too shall try to CBL...if not see y'all on the flip side.

Ann - The common things that you cannot find in the grocery store just amazes me. We have had trouble finding Sprite Zero and sugar free orange drink of any kind, which DH loves. Sometimes there is no caffeine-free diet coke. Our local Walmart seems to have trouble keeping Great Value Fat Free milk. Sometimes it is really random things like chili beans in the can. Today, I had exactly 4 heads of cauliflower to choose from and none were really good. Just crazy! Invariably, I have to shop two stores to get everything on my list. It was funny today, because I saw my high school basketball coach shopping at Walmart and later, we were both at Super 1 and he was parked next to me. We both complained about having to shop two stores to complete our lists.
I managed grocery shopping, dropped off past copies of our local newspaper to Dee, who cannot afford a subscription and brought Debbie some persimmons and a recipe for persimmon pecan cake. We laughed because it will probably be her DH who actual bakes the cake. He likes to cook and she doesn't.
I enjoyed yoga and then DH and I had taco salad for dinner and watched a couple episodes of New Tricks. He has gone to bed and I will read for a bit before turning in. It has been a good, but busy day. Sweet dreams!
