Day 2 – Pick Two Reasonable Diets
Beck wants you to pick two diets that you would be willing to follow, one is the one you’ll follow and the other is a back-up in case the first one doesn’t work out. These are her guidelines for a “doable diet:”
Diet should be healthy.
Choose a diet that includes food you like and can easily prepare.
Choose a diet that’s flexible.
Choose a diet that allows you to budget for indulgences.

My two are any WW plan and calorie counting.

I am double tracking calories and WW Purple...if i had to do another it might be Core or the original 123 Points/winning points/conquer cravings on ITB

1. WW Purple or whatever WW becomes next week
2. Calorie counting

I use WW for food tracking and My Fitness Pal to track my weight daily.
Initially I chose WW because it was popular and thought to be healthy. I stuck with it because it was the most flexible. At this point I think I know what it takes to lose weight and live healthy without having a plan, per se. Having the support and resources all in one place are what I enjoy.
When I’m trying to figure out an unexpected gain or a plateau I use MFP. Checking my calories helps me to control portions, especially for zero point foods.

I use MFP with calorie counting an eye towards carbs, fat and protein.

My two diet choices are WW and the Mayo Clinic Diet.
I use these two diets because I can eat whole foods on both plans and I do use information from both plans everyday.

I do Points Plus (because it got me eating fruit regularly again, which I barely ate under the Flex program because it cost me so many points!), and my back up would be counting calories.
