Good morning WW friends. Again I slept well and ever so grateful for that simple but necessary pleasure.
Woke up to more frost and a temperature of 25!
Nothing on the agenda today. I am in the mood for chicken soup so will put that together and call it supper. I have some veggies to use up and that's a good way to do it.
LOL Sue that would have tickled me as well It's nice when someone helps you out. I'm sure you enjoyed your 'treat'
Waving and shall CBL

Back from a wonderful walk with the boys. They are having our Holiday Fair at the clubhouse today. Masks are mandatory....however I saw too many people going in and out without them. We shall most definitely pass on going this year. Judy I keep meaning to ask you how your DD is doing and also your DF with breast cancer. Time for another coffee

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Saturday! I also slept very well, and woke to temps in the low 30's. It seems too early for this!! But we do have some 60 degree days predicted in the near future before it cools down again. I hope to get out for a walk today, if my hip stops hurting. For some reason I woke up with a "hitch in my git-along" this morning. I've been massaging and also took some Tylenol.
DH had been mentioning bacon recently and I had some, so this morning for breakfast we finished up the fresh cantaloupe in the fridge as well as a Bagel Thin with light cream cheese and bacon slices. It made for a very good breakfast, topped by a small bottle of orange Emergen-C.
Ann ~ Soup does sound good. Last evening we went online and ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Kroger (before they ran out of turkeys). We enjoyed it so much last year, and had no waste whatsoever as we packaged up all the sides and ate them the week after the holiday too. Then I made a pot of soup from the carcass, which we were thinking about just last night. Enjoy!!
Judy ~ I am really excited to hear about your first night(s) in the new house. What a wonderful adventure!! You have worked very hard to get here!
Pam ~ So sorry to hear about your foot! Nothing more aggravating than a pain that interferes with our chosen activity. I do hope you are able to get out and walk soon. Good luck with DH's foot!!
I don't have a lot to do today and may actually take some reading time!
BBL. Make a great day!!

Sue sorry about your hip pain. If you can tolerate it, add an ibuprofen along with the tylenol. Together they work really well.
Highest it's supposed to get today is 50s.
Happy you got your Thanksgiving meal ordered.
I'm also not going to accomplish much today. Going to sit read and play games lol. Every once in awhile I enjoy a nothing kind of day.

Ann ~ What's with people not wearing masks? DH just mentioned it the other day because he said most everywhere he goes he is the only one wearing a mask. We have never treated this pandemic as if "it's almost over" like I hear on TV and radio .... or "now that we're nearing the end"..... Fortunately we are not self-conscious at all about being the only ones wearing a mask. Also, thanks for the suggestion about the Ibuprofen as I just took two with a big glass of water. I didn't think of it, but I'm glad you did because I bet it does the trick!! I have begun putting together a Breakfast Casserole to sit overnight and get baked tomorrow morning. I don't make it when it's hot so it's been months since we had it. It makes 10 servings, so we eat 2 the first day and I have four square plastic containers the perfect size and we freeze the remaining 4 meals. Then we'll have that until about Christmastime. Speaking of the local 7-Eleven, I was telling DH about stopping there and how "a very nice man" helped me out - when he concurred that he WAS a very nice man. Seems DH does stop in there now and again and knew who I was referring to. That was a nice thing. He'll probably mention it to him when he stops in next. Not that he'll remember me, but that someone complimented him. Life is too short not to be kind, and acknowledge the kindness of others. My DH has got jobs stacked to the ceiling this week. God is good .... last week when he was fighting that cold he had no calls whatsoever which is good because he didn't need to be trying to work. This week everybody wants/needs something done so he's having to prioritize daily and adjust as they come in. But his cold is almost completely gone so he is grateful to have the energy to take it on. I went through my fridge and tomorrow (or Monday) we are having a mish-mash for supper. We have one serving of BBQ beef, one of pork w/gravy, one each of four different vegetable dishes as well as one scalloped potatoes and mac 'n cheese. We'll probably just divide everything up and put on two plates and have a "buffet" supper. I think I will go read some and see if my hip relaxes enough to walk later??

I listen to my PCP and my gut feelings. COVID is NOT going away. At best being vaccinated means that if you get it it will be of a mild variety....from what I was told and from what I read. I guess it does depend on your own health issues. I also don't feel 'odd' in wearing a mask. I feel it's for MY safety as well as OTHER people. But I guess some people just don't get it. It's frustrating. I hope the ibuprofen helps you out. I normally take them both together when I am in pain and it's never failed me. How nice that your DH also knows of the 'kind man' and I so agree...life is WAY too short to not acknowledge a kindness and pay it forward. LOL to a mish mash supper. We often do the same thing. A little of this and a little of that and presto you have a meal for two Wonderful that DH's cold is just about gone. I hear him on prioritizing. Smart man! I love a good breakfast casserole. Haven't done one in awhile, so thanks for jogging my memory. We took another walk. I am now jammified even though it's early I won't go with Carl for the final Benjamin walk of the day. I'm tired and just don't feel like pushing myself. He's fine with going solo. Waving to Pam and Judy...hope all is well with y'all just in case I don't pop back into the cafe later... Right now I'm going to the sectional to read. Tootles

Ann, Enjoy your rest! I used to piggyback the Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen, especially for dental pain. It created a "wonder drug" in and of itself. Thanks for jogging my memory! My hip is feeling much better.
I am listening to Sirius XM Country Christmas and enjoying it very much! Probably my favorite EVER station for holiday songs, especially since I'm a Country music fan so the voices are familiar to me. That coupled with my Kindle is making for a very nice afternoon.
The breakfast casserole is about half put together, then I have to set it out in the garage overnight and bring it in and bake it in the morning.

Happy I helped you out Sue.
I am not a fan of country music but I do love country Christmas music. It has a special feel to it.
