10:30 - there appears to be points discrepancies between the app and website on some foods. This is a glitch which I'm sure is being addressed,
9AM edit, website is back up. (For now 😂)
8:30 edit **The app/website has crashed from the overload, just hang on and once things slow down it will be back up and running**It's always easier to have one thread for questions so new members can find answers and instead of having people look through a 43 page thread I thought I'd start one for the US rollout!! Again I'd like to thank our friends from down under, chook and xrisy , for keeping us so well informed and having so much patience with all of our questions. You guys are fantastic! 💐 By now we pretty much know how this new plan is going to play out but don't be shy if you don't understand something. We have many experienced members here that are so generous with their time and we truly appreciate everyone that has helped answer questions! You guys ROCK! Fingers crossed 🤞 that the rollout goes smoothly tonight. Remember everyone, they WILL get things fixed when there are glitches, so just take a deep breath it's almost here ☺️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

It's here! I'm diabetic. I'm lifetime. I was on the green plan and had 35 points. I now have added eggs and chicken to my zero points list and lost fruit. My daily points for now 34 instead of 35 but in reality I have a lot more points to spend because I eat chicken nearly every day.
I notice that popcorn still has points and I do eat popcorn most days but I'm going to leave this as it is because I like the accountability.
So far so good but I just need to be careful with the chicken and the eggs and probably will continue to weigh the chicken and be careful on the eggs just like I was careful with the fruit...

15 dailies and 29 weeklies.
Last week I was following the BLUE plan, so 23 dailies; the app had messed with my weeklies (like mostly crazy high - 40s and 50s - maybe it was already doing the + thing with all my veggies), so that number was all over the place but I seem to remember 35 - a nice, easily-divisible-by-7-days number.
I've done my initial assessment and planned / tracked my meals for today.
Some of my regular food choices have gone up a point. On a much-reduced budget, that will make a big difference. My dinner protein choice, for example, is now almost HALF of my dailies; before, it was 1/3. And the app's given me a point for my 8 oz (weighed) of salad. <hmmm>.
The veggie feature works off "cups" not weight. I weigh my food. 8 oz of salad is a HUGE volume "by cups" but only 1 + point by measure. The flip point is 11 oz by weight. Ditto my 4 oz of broccoli planned for dinner. I would have to re-measure (because I weigh my food) to convert to the volume factor that WW uses in its algorithm.
Let's see how all this sorts out.

Where would you go in the app if you wanted to retake the assessment? I took the initial assessment, but am rethinking a couple of my answers.

shragae did you add popcorn to your list? If so make sure the popcorn you are adding is "plain air popped".

As expected the Android version is a hot mess when it come to editing my meals. I haven't tried recipes yet.

My android updated without any problems (yay!) I took the assessment.
I received 26 daily points and my weekly is 14. Zero foods are chicken, air-popped popcorn, fruits and veggies. I'm using steps for my daily activity. Someone elsewhere asked and I am able to manually add steps. I am not on maintenance. If I was, I think I would get more daily points.
So far, so good. I'm excited to see how this works!

vicki what I don't understand is we know they too have Android's down under (among the other places it has rolled out) and we know that the plan has been live there for weeks so why haven't the glitches been worked out on the app end yet? Strange.

I do my tracking online computer. I was surprised . I gt 31points and I put I don't exercise much. I picked 4 cups of brown rice 4 red delicious apples and 1 cup of black beans. I make 8 little meals during the day. I have a microwave rice cooker so its neat. I am glad this is 0 points. They were letting me pick 2 grains only. but I am surprised they were zero today and in green yesterday 29. I got 30 points yesterday. 31 today. But 28 weekly.

I always weigh my carrots and if I track carrots by grams, it will automatically give me my extra points without me having to do any conversion to cups.

If you track your veggies using weight in the tracker, it will automatically add your extra points. I always weigh my carrots and if I track carrots by grams, it will automatically give me my extra points without me having to do any conversion to cups. Yes, that's true. HOWEVER: 8 oz of salad by weight = 1 point 3 cups of salad by volume = 3 points Same food but different bonus points because of unit of measure. 4 oz of broccoli by weight = 0 points 1 cup of broccoli by volume = 1 point Same food but different bonus points because of unit of measure. So one would need to be mindful of this difference, if one wants to maximize the "benefit" of this new bonus plan, eh? I'm not overly invested in being a bonus-points 'Ho, but if I was, I'd have to shift all my measurements to volume.

Pssstttt diva49 you don't have to convert anything you can just tap the veggie button to account for the difference. 🥦🥒🥬🍅

Veggie button? Where is that? And how do you track water? Do you have to go to the top bar and type it in?
