Good morning friends. Slept well and grateful. Today marks 6 months that Benjamin is part of our family Time surely does fly. I remember having him the day before Mother's Day and I couldn't have asked for a better gift!
My agenda today calls for dropping off my down jacket to have the zipper replaced. While there we will stop in Ocean State Job Lots for a few odds and ends. They are offering their Veteran's discount. We will also hit Hannaford's and replenish produce.
I took the WW assessment on my desktop and hopefully when I open the app on the phone I'll be up and running....if not I'll simply continue to follow the blue plan LOL.....We'll see how that flies.
Leftover chicken soup is on the menu for supper. Quick and easy and I'm all about that these days.
Judy so happy that you are in your new home and from the post loving it I imagine you will be donating lots of 'stuff' once all is unpacked. Little by little it'll all get done. I would leave the boss/work thing alone for now. That too will work out for the best. Awesome you'll all be together for Thanksgiving. Too bad the nameless creature has the grands......
Wishing all as wonderful peaceful and OP day and shall CBL

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Monday!! I also slept well and for 9 hours, which still put me up very early. I do enjoy my quiet time in the mornings when DH is still sleeping. Then by the time he is up, I am ever so glad to see him!! He has left for work and I still have sometime, so I thought I better post now while I have the time.
I got a text from our third co-worker who has been MIA for two weeks with two daughters with COVID. She texted me that she caught it from them and is now sick herself and will be home (I'm thinking 2 more weeks). So onward we go .... short-handed ..... but then isn't everyone?? I have no idea her vaccination status, but I guess I just assumed she was vaccinated. Now I don't know??
My GF and her DH are both doing very well. I chatted with her this weekend, and she is still quarantined until the 10th based on her positive test on the 1st. But she is delighted to have her DH home!!
Ann ~ Happy six month anniversary with Benjamin! He is a very lucky guy to have found you two, and I know you are delighted to have him!! Thanks for mentioning the change in plan on WW app, as I just checked and I found it but I don't have time to do it right now. Maybe when I get home??
Judy ~ Congrats on being in the house and starting to get things set up. You certainly will not miss the hotel when you officially move out at the end of the week. Great that your family can come for Thanksgiving! I had wondered what you would do? Now to unpack enough dishes to serve dinner?? LOL
Pam ~ Hope your weekend was good and you're beginning your new week rarin' to go!
I had a good weekend and am ready to start a new week. We got a lot of chores done, and I got to read quite a bit, and we did some visiting so it was a huge success in our book. I don't have anything on my calendar until Friday when I travel a distance to meet a friend for lunch and shopping. I haven't seen her in three months, so it will be special.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Well I took the 'quiz' via desktop as it's easier for me to see and now I can't get into it on the desktop and the phone app isn't letting me do a thing. Can't find my 0 point food list or any of that stuff and can't manually add my steps taken. Guess I'll not be using the app at all. I have such little knowledge in the technology department...can't even ask a simple question and get an answer. In my defense at least I don't have to rely on the app or WW to help me lose weight. I've been maintaining for years via the WW plan the Ann plan and Ann's balancing plan LOL...and they all work I just feel sad that I can't be a part of it all. Good luck with getting it to work out for y'all. I'm sure you'll all be successful it doing so. So happy that your friends are all doing well, Sue. Keeping them all in my prayers. I bet your reunion on Friday is going to be a wonderful occasion. Enjoy. Time for me to get a move on.

Good afternoon! Time certainly got away from me this weekend. I spent Saturday morning doing floors before the kids got here. We had a late lunch of spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and birthday cake. They spent most of the afternoon hanging out. Anna was feeling under the weather, so didn't come, but Jude and Abby did. DH and I were still full at dinner time, so just had a little leftovers. I ate a cup of mac & cheese and it was more than enough. We enjoyed watching LSU give Bama a run for their money. Sunday after Mass, I picked more pecans. I still have 1/2 a tree to go on this second go around. I made a trek to Walmart in the afternoon to pick up prescriptions for DH and a few groceries. I was able to score a couple of items that I've been unable to find recently, so it was a good trip. Debbie and I took a shorter, slower walk in the afternoon as my foot is still bothering me. We walked again this morning and I managed 2 miles. I'm guessing the steroid shot is wearing off and if so, my foot will continue to get worse and not better until I get another one. We'll see. I am nearly done with laundry and did some cleaning and straightening in the kitchen. The microwave and the toaster both needed attention as well as some junk mail, empty containers, etc. that have been taking up space on the island. In between that and laundry, I tended to some credit union business. I was also able to take the WW assessment (twice) and will see how all this works. The app appears to have some glitches and freezes up or fails to log a food item I have tracked, but so far I have been able to muddle through. I did read on my chromebook a disclaimer that not all of the new WW features are available on ww.com, so it's better to use iPad/iPhone app. It all seems like business as usual with a WW upgrade/program change--issues. Several android users have posted they are having problems. Since my WI is on Friday, I am mid-week, so hopefully all the glitches will be worked out by next week. I'm not sure it's counting my veggies automatically, like it's supposed to. I think I get 26 daily points, but not sure and no idea about weeklies. After the assessment, my activity goal has increased from 7500 steps to 8500. That's very doable when my foot isn't hurting. After a couple of heated discussions yesterday, it appears DD3 and family will not be coming for Christmas. Little Leah is too young for a vaccination and things are pretty wide open here. The mask mandate here was lifted at the end of October and while Abby still wears a mask at school, Jude and Anna do not as they are vaccinated and it is optional for them. Abby is apparently one of the only kids in elementary wearing a mask. DD1 plans to get her vaccinated as soon as the pediatrician gives the okay and then she won't wear a mask anymore. If things stay the same here, with low Covid rates, we plan to have our extended family Christmas gathering at DB's home. Not all of them will be vaccinated, which I find aggravating, but really worries DD3. Since we will be attending and could be a source of infection, even though we are fully vaccinated and boostered, DD3 will err on the side of caution. I don't blame her, but am so very sad that they won't be coming and that she is upset with us for choosing to attend the family gathering. She is extremely anxious and germaphobic, which only adds to the angst. She did text me later to apologize for shouting at me on the phone and to say she loves us. I HATE this #$%& virus!!! Judy - Congrats on getting moved in!!! I am so happy for you. I am sure it will take a while to get completely settled in, but it sounds like you made excellent progress. Ann - I can't believe it's already been 6 months since Benjamin joined your family. He's a lucky pup! I hope you can get the app figured out. Sue - It seems that vaccinated people are more susceptible to the Delta variant, but at least the cases are much milder in those who have been vaccinated. Once they get the new treatment meds approved, that will be another tool in the arsenal. Sorry that you will continue being short-handed at work, though. Well, the dryer is summoning me!

Pam so sorry to hear DD3 and family will not be present for Christmas. That's got to be hard.
All I retained from the assessment is my steps jumped to 11,000 daily. I'm not going to get myself upset over it. I will try again tomorrow to enter food etc. If it let's me fine if not paper tracking works. It just means I won't earn points to donate.
Going to sit relax and read. Today's shopping and computer stuff tired me out.
Sweet dreams
