FALL is here! We have 3 months till December and late November for holidays to get in shape for them. As well as eating cleanly most of the time, we'll be paying attention to our portions sizes and stopping when satisfied. Let's enjoy our healthiest fall ever!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here.
This challenge runs September 1 through Thanksgiving, 2021. GOOD morning. ISlmeone in the apartment complex is driving me to get 12 till I shop Wednesday. I am having 2 cans of tuna in 4 meals and 4 onion bagels. I will buy tomatoes when I shop Wednesday. forever is nearby and I want to get 12 fresh bagels sliced too.

It is nice. barb wanted bagels too, I am going to my Credit Union in 3 hours through the drive through wit. taxi cab. I am bring a check and some cash to deposit and take bcksome or Scott and I to use this holiday season for his birthday which is January 1 and Christmas. when we go to I HOP IN THE M0RNING.

Hello! So I was a slug yesterday, no exercise but I didn't overeat so that was good. I'll try to get back on track today. I did 4 miles on the TM but need to lift weights (which I haven't done all week, ouch!). And stretch!

Iam goin to eat 8 packets high fiber oatmeal. it hs in those 8 packets 1600 mg of calcium. which I need. it is 1200 calories. I can affordd it. 8 pack4ts have 80 fiber grams. We go shopping Monday morning. I will buy another 9 boxes that day to last till the Wednesday next. I am excited. I have a box a day with 8 packets in it for 5 days. I've been getting a bit of a nauseated feeling eating other food. I think this will help me lose weight by controlling calories. I go to WW Friday. It is 36 points but the okay. I think I need a good sleep. I am going to call my Community Support program tomorrow and also the doctor to tell them I am getting 1600 of calcium and don't need tums then. I would rather gt it with food. I am glad I have 5 boxes. I have paid off my amazon card and want to pay another card by October 2022. I will pay a bit and my brother will pay what amounts to the interest I have brought the amount in that card down a lot. I pay it the day I get Social Security because the second of the month is the end of the period of the bill. Sometimes I have to pay it the fourth but the;s okay. I can't take out my rent money I can transfer it to my Credit union the 20th of this month for January rent. Scott and I are going to I hop Thansgiving morning with the cab. we are leaving at 7am. I plan to get a fruit cup 2 of them. Plus I asked Scott to use my money to buy aw fruit plate for Thanksgiving for me. My brother will calll me. We had a food pantry here today at the apartment. I am not going to eat what we got. a turkey breaks and ham for Scott. he is eating my non vegetarian meals on wheels. I just cant eat the meat Sometimes I take the desert but it is hard for me to eat the dish. I was eating pasta and sauce and will give them Rich who cleans on the weekend this week for me. He suggest the new agency he also works for. They are coming Monday to meet me in the afternoon. I am glad I am retired. dI thought of going to working applied on line for department of Vocationa. Rehabilitation . They called a half hour late so I know they would help me. But I would rather not work. If I worked I would have copy in medication and maybe have to pay a Medicare premium. no thank you. right now I have no coo-pays. I

I got good sleep. My new agency I hope it s is interviewing me Monday to assess me. My. public MCO approved it and another agency for me. I want them to start soon because Vanessa wants to take 2 or 3 weeks off in December after he courses are over. Rich who helps me weekends because isis along term substitute for a school during the year. He works for this company too. And he urger ed the head to come here. I have to thank Rich because without him I would not have someone coming. My public MCO lalso sent information to another agency too if this one does not work out. I hope this one does. and also their office is near me on the West side. They do 3 our sessions but I hope they will accurate me and do 2 hour and Rich on weekends. or else have 14 hours. week 2 with Rich on weekends and 12 during the week 4 times during the week. They could do laundry and shop and do showers and clean. I would give them keys like I do Right at Home.i hope they will. Scott is so wonderful with me. is doing what Vanessa is not during her time with 1 hour a day except for shopping. I can hardly wait till I Loe weight. Also I have to tell my doctor I am getting 1600 hundred calcium with the oatmeal. also I don't dry dishes. Plus if I want to eat the meals on wheels I am eating 1200 plus why that is.

hi all. I did the pre diabetes assessment and came up with 28 points and green peas and tuna fish. I will eat 4 cups of green peas and 4 cans of white tuna. 8 servings 1/2 cup with 1/2 of a 5 oz can. I have enough tuna till I shop Wednesday. I will have to buy 32 cans cause I shop the next week with Russ. I think I can buy 7 bags of peas cause I think I have 3 mor4e bags after the one I made today for tomorrow. I went to WW and idd okay. I am going to celebrate Thanksgiving by going with Scott to IHOP ay 7 in the morning with a cab. I am going to get 2 fruit cups or I don't know what I can get. Then Scott is making a turkey breast we got here from a food pantry,. then I am going with Russ later in the day for another Thanksgiving with his family. I Scott bought a pumpkin pie. I may just call Thanksgiving an off day for me. I am trying to drink water starting tonight. I put water in a lot of water bottles for me and some pitchers. I am getting 2 more pitchers from Qvc that close without dripping or the top falling of . At the meeting today the leader said that we should drink water and if we have enough new get 1 extra point. I like green peas. I scaled myself when taking out the peas that I was steaming. Scott cleaned the fall I was afraid I would slip.

Amy its a shame you have to pay co payments just for working.
I did not have a good food week but it will get better
Yesterday we went over to Sams for his 40th birthday Its actually tomorrow. Today he wants to go to Rocky Gap MD to the casino so we had planned to go with him and his wife but if his wifes mom is not feeling well, then it may be just Sam and us . Carol would stay home with the kids.
On the other hand, Sam may just decide to wait and go another time and that is ok with us too.

Good morning! I'm in a weird headspace today, am skipping WW (but not quitting or anything). I will exercise soon and also do some much needed cleaning. It's a little frustrating -I wanted to do some serious cleaning upstairs earlier, which I don't mind so much when I listen to a book on CD or in this case, on my cellphone; but Susan's bedroom is upstairs and she's sleeping. This was around 4:30am this morning -the time change really has me messed up, I'm waking up way too early. So I'll hop on the TM instead. I had my annual (a year late thanks to covid!) physical and got my numbers back Friday evening -the NP said they were good except that the cholesterol is high (which I find confusing) -so the doctor wants me to go on a low cholesterol diet and lose weight. I go in again in 3 months for more blood tests to see where I am. ARG! I'm really annoyed at myself for letting this happen. I've never had a cholesterol problem before! But I appreciate my doctor getting real with me and following up. Oh, and I'm another inch shorter, jeesh!
We are celebrating Jeremy's birthday this evening and I'm bringing the cake. Great timing for trying to improve my diet! Birthday, then Thanksgiving then Christmas! I will try to reign in the overeating through to Jan 1st, then get super strict.
Amy, that is so stupid that you get saddled with co payments if you start working a few hours! I'll be joining you with the oatmeal -which is a great food for lowering the cholesterol!
Mo, isn't it weird have a 40 year old child?! When did we become over-40?! Okay, we actually know when but still! I hope you all have a nice weekend regardless of where you spend it!
