Good morning Peanut Gallery, I slept good till 5 even w/BR brk I did get right back to sleep. I'm going to work at making soups today. That freezer needs restocked. But also have to Groc. shop for some soups and need some OTC's. Of course. But I will have hubby go to Aldi's till I get that phone call. Then we will be on the move. I can gather up things for soups and doing work here till we both do the Groc. shopping.
Thanx Phyl, I will get that attachment. I've also cut on Bias for something but not edging. Who knows what? ha.ha.
I hope you all slept well.. Enjoy this day~~ Marm~~~

Thanks Marm for starting us! I was successful in pasteing my earlier message here. We were both typing at the same time I think, and you were a little ahead of me. You were the hare and I was the turtle. Ha!
I’ve used bias tape throughout my sewing life, but I never heard of an attachment for my machine. Sounds like a good idea. What are you making Marm? I haven’t done anything my machine except for hemming and making masks for many years now.
I think Marlene is getting an injection today to help alleviate her pain. I pray it does the job! I’m not sure when Shraga is having her knee surgery, but I know it is soon, this week or next? Please remind me. I pray it goes well.
Two fun things on my agenda today: the monthly birthday/anniversary party here and then the card game Phase 10 tonight. And a not-so-fun job of washing my sheets, and probably another load too. I still won’t be able to tuck the sheets and blanket in at the foot of my bed, too heavy to lift, but I can make do as before. Now it’s time to read the paper and eat breakfast. BBL

Two threads are better then none
Thanks for starting us this morning Marm. This getting up early, to be ready for the day, before the guys get here is getting to be old hat. I've taken my shower at night since they have been working but today I had to shower before the injection. No special soap but an added procedure since I had the last one. My appointment isn't till 2:00 so I have the wash going too & will get the bed re-made before we go. I can still do that but it sometimes bothers my back.
I have a beef roast in the slow cooker for supper & will peel the potatoes before we go, so I won't have much to prepare when we get home. I try to make my life simple these days.
They are working on the new porch window today & finishing up a few odds & ends. Wednesday we will sign the contract for the roof. I can't believe we are getting all this done, but it makes a big difference with DS sharing the cost. I would like to up-date the kitchen next but that may be harder to convince DH.
Not much else. May stop back later today.

Supper is over but I still have the kitchen to clean up.
The doctor's appointment was uneventful. My BP was a little high after getting the injection so I had to wait a while before I could come home - not long. Now I will wait for the results to kick in. My doctor said that will take 3-5 days. Think I can last that much longer for relief.
We closed the porch off all day because it was cold out there with them working on the window. Waldo was not a happy kitty. He spends most of his time out there. The wall under the window still needs to be finished so they will be back but I'm not sure when. The gutter guys will be coming Friday.
SIL was here, while we were at the doctors, & put the first coat of sealer on the bow window. One more coat to go - maybe more(?)
I got our turkey about 10 days ago at WM. It is a Butterball & just under 11#'s. No company coming so I'll only be cooking for the three of us. Now that I've had the shot I may have been able to cook for more but I wasn't going to take any chances. Maybe I'm too lazy.
Missing Shargae but I'm sure this is a busy time for her. I'm praying that surgery goes well - like wise with PT & recovery.
Keep warm, & sleep tight!

Mary, Love it the "Hare "n" Rabbit". Well I did make a few Masks but I don't care the way they look. But now I don't have them anyhow so I want to start over. I'm not as good at sewing like I used be. I would love some cloth masks as these others is itchy. When I put a new one on I work it over so its some better. But it sure does look used when I'm finished. Ha,ha. I was thinking this week Shraga has surgery. But not sure either. Did you hear how bad Gareth hurt her wrist? Gee that girl never does anything easy. I never tuck the bottom sheets in. Maybe a bit on the corner if sticking out to far.
Marlene, I sure hope that injection works for you. Phyl. said a couple weeks. Brrr, Would hate for any kind hold up when part of porch wall out. They better watch Waldo will get even. Ha,ha. By the way how is he doing?
Phyl, That's right you "n" Shraga both have to deal w/ Diabetes. That would be tough. Good to hear you did get a Turkey. At least you have more LO's for good things to make.
Back and forth w/Nurse to Dr. and ect. Anyhow wanting to get my Med record for my one DR. to another. Hope to get another call tomorrow morning and move forward.
Sleep well friends.. shrag prayer's for you~~ Marm~~
