Hi owls and friends.
Got my Covid test done this afternoon. Thought the nurse was going to stick that q tip into my brain. Nasty feeling Will get results in 24-48 hours.
Spent a bunch of time on the phone today. Some business and a couple of friend calls. Good to talk with both of them. Had planned on going to do a few errands after I had my test but by that time I was too lazy to drive to Michaels. May decide to go to Hobby Lobby tomorrow. Have to stop at the Spectrum store and also at either a grocery store or CostCo. This morning I decided to clean my living room a bit. Needed some dusting and the laminate needed mopping. Going to ask DS if he'll come and get that chair. Then I can rearrange my living room the way I want it.
Having a turkey pot pie for supper. Ate chicken gnocci soup for lunch that my DDIL gave me. It was very filling so won't be needing supper for a while.
Have a good night.

Hello everyone
I survived the vaccine. Didnāt hurt at all the RN was extremely comforting and very good at giving the vaccine. No pain yet. Last time pain started about 12 hours after. So glad that is over with.
Got biopsy results. Unsatisfactory specimen. Unsatisfactory diagnostic category. One more biopsy result which is genetic testing still needs to come in. They said it takes longer. About 3 weeks. Itās more in-depth. Another biopsy might be needed. Will know better what is going on after talking to the endocrinologist. Not going in good direction.
I of course did Internet research on the terms I didnāt understand. Seems the biopsy might have not collected any cells for a diagnosis. If thatās the case I want a different doctor todo the second one. My endocrinologist did not do this biopsy.
I read enough to compile a list of questions for the doctor. No need to read any more. Will wait to see what the doctor says.
Glad the Xanax was still in my system when results came in. Helped me process this and not freak out. At least no cancer diagnosis so far.

yep, Mar, good not to panic just yet. I had a urine sample that kind of said the same thing. Gee whiz, wonder how much they had to have. I didn't have to do it again. My Dr said could do it next time I had blood work. He felt if there was something to see they would have seen it. especially since I told him how much was in the bottle. The next time it was perfect. maybe some one didn't know what they were doing. I do know a biopsy is different but know they need surrounding cells or at least enough to get accurate reading.
Betty I like that you are standing up for yourself. Good!! yep do your own thing it is your living room. If he doesn't want to come get it tell him you are going to sell it. !! I am cheering you on.
Phyl, hope you are doing better with the bloating. maybe finding out what foods to stay away from? Bet you will be glad to have those crowns done !!

I had an indeterminate thyroid biopsyā¦turned out benign. Sometimes they just don't hit enough of it. Small target.
good luck at dentist, Phyl.
I like Turkey pot pie.DH doesn't.
got my lights hooked upā¦looks pretty. 4 houses already. Two of us have more to do. Tomorrow I will put the little porch tree out by the door next to an outlet, maybe do a little that remains.
was going to do a bit of groceriesā¦then decided I needed to go to the Hallmark store since none of the grocery or pharmacy places have Thanksgiving cards! they have a mini postoffice and I wanted the otters in snow stamps for cards. but I put in my black sneakers I bought for winter with the summer ones last July and they are too short! I have had to quit wearing the others..big toes started hurting. I guess my arches have cone down further and The foot is longer again. Would you believe DSW took back the new shoes? So I found a pair that fitā¦egad 1.5 sizes bigger. I remember my dbil who was a track coach saying sneakers are a size bigger than regular shoes. But wow. Regular shoes for me are now 9. Most of my life they were 8AA. Dr said I had some of the highest arches he had seen. Well even with foot flatting down and getting longer, they are still high. Interesting changes life brings.
Got back to my original chores. Looked for cards,ā¦wrapping stuff, puzzles while waiting for post office to open from lunch them there was a line. So that took longer. Only one checkout at grocery store..more waiting and remembered to drop off the Toys For Tots at vet.
That day got longer!

Text my DS about the chair. They will pick it up next weekend. He had asked a while ago if I wanted to get rid of it. Didn't then, do now.
Mar, glad you are done with the vaccine.
Haven't even thought about Christmas decorations yet. We have never put a tree up until after our anniversary. Holidays will not be joyful for us this year. If my Covid test turns out positive I won't be able to go to DD for Thanksgiving, I'll be quarantined. Hope that doesn't happen.
