Are you going to check out the eclipse? Not sure we will see it, snow cloud cover may hide it. Full moon is really pretty right now. The cloud moved over and got to see it.
Friday and I probably will be home all day!! Weather is a bit iffy. Got errands run today so maybe can get some cleaning done. I did bring up the Christmas/ winter dishes from basement. Will fill in for thanksgiving day. Will unpack and put in dish washer.
What are your plans today? I hope you all are feeling well and have lots of energy and ready to go.!! Sometimes that is harder than others. So for now just getting us started for FRIDAY.

Lucy you are a girl after my own heart! I need my coffee LOL.
So I had my knee surgery yesterday morning and I think things are going fairly well. I'm still in the hospital but should be discharged this afternoon. Pain was fairly manageable yesterday but I do understand it's usually worse today and tomorrow because the spinal block and a block that they use for the surgery wear off...
I was kind of afraid of the pain issues so if this continues being manageable I won't be as afraid of doing the right knee in a few months...

Great Shragae, I'm glad the knee surgery went well and you will be going home this afternoon. I made a second pot of coffee this morning. Too cold for this old lady so coffee helps. My house is too warm for most people but I just can't stay warm.
Well, it didn't even get down to freezing last night . I covered my avocado plant for naught. Sposed to get to 60. Sunshine. Son is on the way. He will do some things around here for me but not spending the night as originally planned. Wife still has a cough at night. She is fine in the daytime.
Are some of you having family get togethers this weekend?
Coffee calling. Have a great day all.

Shragae, you were thought of yesterday, and glad all went well. Hope the trip home goes well. I don't have your birthday ?? Hope we didn't miss it.
I am going to GD#2 Tomorrow morning and will start the thread tonight but would someone start it for Sunday, please? I will be back home later in the day Sunday. It is a quick trip for Elias birthday.
There is no snow on ground but a little bit on the floor of my front porch, that is always the last place to have snow or ice disappear. I took a card to mail box but go out the garage door, no steps there. Brr it is 33° and of course the wind is blowing. Was pretty strong last night and early this morning. I need to check to see if I have an order to be delivered today. If I remember right there is one coming. No plans except for doing the car registration on line today. If I get it done early my mechanic says he can do the state inspection maybe before the roads start getting bad, He knows I hate driving on slippery roads. Pretty sure that is the only thing I have to get done, no appointments. Try not to make them in winter.

HI! I finally got the thread back! It just vanished.
Shragae, glad all is well!
It was 30º this morning, but it got up to 57º. I got home and got busy, and just now thought t sit down at the computer. Cornbread is made for the dressing in time for it to dry out a bit. The ham is ordered. ETC. Tomorrow morning, we'll pick up the ham, potatoes, green beans, and paper plates, and come home to relax. They'll do the rest.
Hugs! Diane
