Good morning friends. Slept well even though I woke up very early. I'm grateful that there is no agenda today.
Tonight shall be leftovers of some sort....a combo of things that we need to use up.

Hey Ann and friends,
Glad you slept well, Ann. I also woke up early but feel more refreshed. I stumbled up the stairs to bed last night and read for a bit. My friend who is a Boston singer/songwriter wrote a book and I am so enjoying reading it. I used to help book him back in the 1990s in my brief stint into the music career world. I loved that job! We had a lot of fun and he played with Livingston Taylor (James Taylor's younger brother) and lots of other names you'd know. This book is all about his and his wife's hippie days hitchhiking around American for three years way back when. Since I know them both well, it is great reading and he is a wonderful writer.
DH went to walk the dogs and he is visiting with neighbors, I am sure. I'm happy for him. OUr sleeves will be rolled up ready to get to work when he gets back. We need to lay rugs and set up beds today.
I joined my ukulele class last night for the first time in a while. I have missed it!

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Saturday!! I also slept well, even though we stayed up until 10; I stayed in bed until 7 this morning. I am still feeling that heavy-headed tired feeling, but less each day. This aging BS is for the birds. <LOL>
Breakfast today was Bagel Thin with peanut butter and banana and for DH I added bacon. I had bacon yesterday with VBF with our French toast breakfast. I'm tracking and planning and hoping for another loss.
I brought up our flannel sheets and will put some on the bed today for tonight. We decided we don't need the heated mattress pad just yet, but we do have an electric blanket with our heavier quilt. I think the flannel will feel luxurious tonight.
Ann ~ Yay for a day with no agenda! I have some free time today but then we have to leave around 5 o'clock for a Retrouvaille meeting, and won't get back home until almost bedtime. I secretly hope DH decides he doesn't want to go after all :-)
Judy ~ Glad you are making time for your reading and your ukelele lessons! You are my hero! I had to LOL about your DH chatting with the neighbors while walking the dogs. That is so great!
I am going to finish the bed and then pour another cup of coffee and sit in my chair for a bit.
BBL. Make a great day!

Judy your book sounds fun...especially knowing the author and recognizing the singers Win win. Nice that DH is visiting with neighbors. It's important to balance out the work with the fun I bet it felt good to get back to your ukulele class. Sue nice that you are going to finish up and relax with a nice cup of coffee. Your breakfast sounds delicious. I love peanut butter Oh I bet those flannel sheets will feel like a little piece of heaven!
Also hoping that DH decides to NOT go We took a nice hood walk. The weather is much more doable today than yesterday as there is no wind and the sun feels great. Going to sit and relax. I'm loving these weekends as I don't have to fret over waiting for test results!!!!!! Will pop in later. Hope all is well with you DH and your family, Pam.

Back from another walk with Benjamin. Our neighbor has her entire house decorated for Christmas complete with Christmas music playing. I walked to the beat of Holly Jolly Christmas lol...Benjamin barked at it . At night the lights keep the beat of the songs.

Ann ~ Your neighbor's house sounds divine! I had to LOL at Benjamin barking at it, though. I have been playing Christmas music because I just love it!
I did finally shed some of that heavy-headed feeling this afternoon. We watched the MSU game - at least part of it until it got too depressing. OU just creamed them! I finished DH's Maurice Salad from supper last night for my lunch. We are having chicken/apple/gouda sausages for supper.
I cleaned up the mess left behind when DH gave away the big TV downstairs and the wood/glass stand that it sat on. There were some things on the stand which ended up on the floor. Then I washed/dried the sheets I took off the bed this morning. I have decided where I'm going to set up my new printer because I want it here in the den with me. I talked to my IT guy neighbor the other day and asked him about my older laptop downstairs which I need to be rid of. He said he would wipe it clean and recycle it, so I disconnected it and got it ready to go to his house this week. I scrubbed up the wooden stand it sat on, and that will most likely become my printer stand. If it doesn't work, I can always replace it later. Now all I have to do is sack up the bears sitting on the toy basket and get rid of them and put the basket downstairs. That will free up that space for my printer. Along the way I need to erase everything on my fax machine and get rid of that as well. The the top of my small file cabinet will be free for the other copier downstairs in its box that DH brought home when he closed up his larger Shop. It can still be used in that way down there, or we may just get rid of it. I am back into purge mode which is a good thing. One simply cannot keep buying new things and not getting rid of any!! <LOL> I am feeling very productive and my half-headache is finally gone after several days. That is something I will NOT miss!!
I have started tomorrow morning's coffee and made two servings of Overnight Oats for tomorrow morning. That will make me feel good when I get home tonight and don't have to do coffee; and in the morning when breakfast is already made. Doesn't take much to cheer me up!!
Wishing you all a lovely evening and sweet dreams!!

Wow Sue...you surely were a power house today. I bet it feels great to have your IT friend wipe your computer clean and then it will make its way to a new home. I am always in purge mode LOL....so have fun with it. All chores are done and we had an early supper. Got a call from Linda and we are getting together with them this evening for a glass of Chianti and just hang out. We'll bring cheese and crackers and I'm not sure what she will put out. Best part? Benjamin will be with us I just hate leaving him for any length of time. Sweet dreams all and will catch y'all on the flip side!
