Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Sunday!! I slept wonderfully well last night, and I definitely give some of the credit to the flannel sheets. They make such a huge difference to me.
We ended up staying home last evening, which delighted me. I just was NOT in the mood for a meeting, then DH fell asleep in his chair and when he woke up he wasn't either. Yay!! I really needed to stay home, and we did. We caught up on one of our favorite shows on On Demand watching the last two episodes.
We enjoyed the Overnight Oats this morning that I made last evening. Of course, it makes getting up all the nicer because the coffee is on and waiting for me. I slept until 7 (again) even though I went to bed at 9. I hope this tiredness abates soon. It is feeling like a combination of the time change and the weather change.
I got a lot more done yesterday than I planned (or even hoped) and woke pleased with that this morning. I had a running "to-do" list in my mind, and it felt good to take care of some of them. Only thing on the agenda today is meeting DBIL for lunch.
BBL. Make a great day!

Sue so happy that you got your wish and stayed home. I agree....sometimes that's just what you need to do. Also nice that you accomplished more than you set out to do. I do believe it's a combo of the two.....I feel like that as well and I'll add being more 'hungry' to the list! Breakfast prayer and coffee is done. Just now waiting for Carl to get ready so we can hit the pavement with Benjamin. After that? Who knows...I may get ambitious or not

This day is stacking up well. A friend (former co-worker) dropped off a large order we placed with her daughter's Girl Scout troop a while back. Now we have chocolate and nuts galore!!
DH has been out and run his errands, and is now putting away the fire pit in the garage which is our very last bit of outdoor clean up. Now we're DONE!!
Ann ~ I have to second that complaint about being HUNGRY! I have managed to stay within my program but it has taken a concentrated effort. Nonetheless, I am determined. Hopefully the tiredness will be gone this week! I am ready for it to be gone!
We will be leaving shortly to go meet DBIL for lunch. I have been perusing the menu of the restaurant and now have my choices down to about 7 <LOL> I think it is complicated by the fact that I'm hungry!
Tomorrow is school, then Fitness class and school Tuesday .... then FIVE days off! I am so ready!!

Good evening! I can't believe how time got away from me this week! I have read your posts for the last few days, so am caught up. I'll try to remember what I've been doing and hit the high points. Thursday was DH's wound care appointment and I am happy to report further shrinkage. We had lunch at our fav Greek/Lebanese place and enjoyed the leftovers for dinner after my yoga class. Friday, after Mass I made a hospice visit and took my patient some of DH's toasted pecans and some satsumas donated to us by a neighbor, since our trees have exactly 4 oranges on them. We had a bumper crop last year, but the late freeze took a toll on our trees. DH and I planned a date night at our favorite restaurant. On the way, we encountered a bad wreck and had to take a fairly long detour to get there. By then, it was crowded and a minimum 30 minute wait, so we opted to leave. We took a bucket of satsumas (one of two that Debbie's DH dropped at our house) to DD1's. DD wasn't home but we chatted with the DGKs for a while, then came home, again having to take a detour. We decided to enjoy a beer at home and order take out from one of the two cafe's in our village. I got fried shrimp, salad and a loaded baked potato and ate about 2/3. The remainder will be a lunch later this week. Saturday I cleaned floors and picked pecans. I also finished my book, Bare Foot, by Elin Hilderbrand an enjoyed it very much. Today after Mass, I read some more and enjoyed relaxing in the lazyboy. I put a pot roast, potatoes, carrots and onions in the crock pot to simmer for our dinner. After lunch, I met Debbie and her DH to put up Christmas decorations at the old school house which is centrally located in the village. DD1 and DGKs came, too, as the two older kids needed community service hours for school. We spent an afternoon in the fresh air and sunshine and then they came to the house and visited with DH for a while. DD1 has been making and selling beaded ornaments and brought some to show us. She is SO creative. She has made beaded angels, butterflies, doves, cardinals and Christmas fairies and they are so pretty! She says it's relaxing to her and she has sold quite a few, so it's a win-win. After they left, I worked in the garden a bit and planted carrots, beets and mustard greens. It's really late to be planting, but if we have a mild winter, it shouldn't matter. I watered everything, including the cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, green onions and garlic. We haven't had much rain the past couple of months and the ground is hard and dry. Debbie and I walked every day but today, so I have been getting my exercise. I have not been doing so well with eating. DH's toasted pecans are a big temptation for me, so it's no wonder the scale was up this week. I am still near goal, but struggling. Oh well! I just KOKO. Judy - I'm glad you got to attend your ukulele class. I know how much you enjoy it. I will send you a private message re: Thanksgiving. Suffice it to say, you have gone above and beyond what is reasonable. I hope it all works out well. Ann - Dee brought me some fresh bread rolls and focaccia which we will enjoy with spaghetti for dinner tomorrow. I thought of you and your love of all that is Italian. Glad you got to enjoy and evening with friends. Sue - I can empathize with your tired feeling. I have been feeling worn down the past few days in spite of early bedtimes and ample sleep. I haven't been taking my B12 regularly, but will start again. Maybe it is just the time change. How nice your DH was on the same page as you about the Retrouvaille meeting. I'm going to read a bit and then head to bed. Sweet dreams!
