Good morning friends. I slept very well and oh so grateful. Feeling more 'chipper'
Today will be spent going to Walmart! I have a very long list and hopefully will score it all. If not, there is always another time.
I will NOT be on the road in any shape or form Thursday or Friday! I am not fond of the crowds that Black Friday gets and don't need anything that badly to 'mix and mingle' in heavy traffic and over crowded stores. And the idea of getting up in the wee small hours of the morning never interested me even before COVID.
LOL Pam on posting 2 days in a row With all you cram into a day I can totally understand. God is good. So happy to hear of the improvements with DH. I had to LOL at the 'birdie bath' Put a smile on my face! I hear you on bringing dinner to them. Easier all the way around. So very sorry to hear of your dear friend. I shall keep him in my prayers. We also use the fresh cranberries for cranberry sauce. I use a combo of sugar and splenda. Glad you enjoyed the glimpse into my Thanksgiving at home
Waving and wishing all a peaceful pleasant and OP day. I shall CBL

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Tuesday!! I also slept well, and woke feeling chipper. I got up and had coffee with a HB egg and a Clementine for breakfast. I have been to my Fitness class which I enjoyed very much. When I got home, DH was home from the doctor so he got me all filled in. He had one (slight) medication change and doesn't have to go back for four months. All that seems like good news. We both go to our PCP on Monday for our Annual Wellness Exams so we'll be all caught up for a while.
Last evening, DH walked in the door with a small bag and a big smile on his face. He had stopped at a local small party store near home and they had Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce sitting on their shelf, so he grabbed one. He felt quite victorious!! We don't make our own because DH only likes the jellied one. The years that we spent at my aunt's house in Texas she made a homemade cranberry relish and though he tried to like it, he was never successful.
I have been back and forth on the phone with our office manager at school. This is payroll week, and most of us had our timesheets completed and submitted before the superintendent closed the schools for today. That meant most of us had to redo our payroll. I just resubmitted my corrected time sheet, so I'm all done (and getting paid for all my days this week even though tomorrow was no school either).
Ann ~ So happy to hear that you are feeling more chipper. Wishing you well on your shopping trip. I also enjoyed the peek into your home life from years gone by. Happy memories are best shared!
Judy ~ Hope everything is going well for you. Keep your chin up and remember to ENJOY!!
Pam ~ As usual, you are busy, busy, busy. More great news about your DH's wound care status. Good idea to move the dinner. I bet the kids will have a ball!! You reminded me that I have a pile of laundry.
I am going to keep today low key. I am already in sweats, ready to relax. I plan to make a Hamburger Pie tonight. We haven't had a beef meal for a while, and when I mentioned what I was making, DH's face lit up!! We haven't had Hamburger Pie since last winter, and it really sounded good to both of us.
I am off to start laundry and warm my veggie/bean soup for lunch. BBL. Make a great day!!

Sue bet you are thrilled that DH scored the cranberry sauce. My mom also loved the Ocean Spray jellied over the homemade version. Just a matter of preference. I bet that hamburg pie is awesome. I've never made one. Would appreciate steering me in the direction of the recipe. Just finished my veggie bean soup for lunch and now we are heading out to hit Walmart. Yeah to DH's exam going well. Time to get a move on. Once I get home I plan on getting comfy cozy and just relaxing. Shopping and mask wearing tire me out!

Got everything we needed and then some at Walmart. It was a total zoo in there! People did have masks on....however most were 'under the nose' variety.
Luckily it was an in and out trip.
Tired and going to relax!
