Looking at the calendar, there are just 4 weeks til Christmas and 5 weeks until 2022. Anything you want to focus on this last month of the year ? (Sorry, Bev, if you were going to ask this question of us this coming week)
For myself, I don't want to have my previous 11 months of hard work go down the tubes by overindulging just because it's December. So, I will continue to watch the number of treats and extras that I have.

I will focus on not eating too many sweet treats during the holidays. My son doesn't eat sweets and he usually brings me what his parishioners give to him. I'll save out a few to nibble on, but the rest go into the freezer in the basement. Out of sight, out of mind. Sometimes I still find them in the freezer uneaten until into the summer, especially if they're not front and center in the freezer staring me in the face when I go down for something else.

Jan, thanks for a great week. No, I hadn't thought about that question.
I plan jut to never quit trying. I fell off the wagon on Thanksgiving, which is really stupid, because I can gain more weight in one or two days than I can lose in 3 or 4 months. I am hoping to make December as good as possible.

Last year, I didn't make as many kinds of holiday treats / foods as I used to - I'll do the same this year. I'll plan to make things that can be mailed, so I can also share with those not in the area. That means less around the house to nibble on. Also, I consider the size of the recipes. I used to plan larger batches to share at work.
Jan, thanks for this week of questions.
