Hi Owls. Got my errands all done today plus one I hadn't planned on. Had a bag of stuff in the car to go to Savers and that store is right next to JoAnns so did get it dropped off. Filled the car with gas too because it's suppose to be very cold the next week or so. Grocery store was busy with lots of visitors. The hs band kids were at the store to bag groceries which was great. Usually at that store you bag your own. Not a job I like. Also went to the bird seed store and got corn and squirrel feed. Worn out by the time I got home.
DD should be here to pick me up in a few minutes. Not really very hungry but I can hopefully find something on the menu that sounds good. I'll be back later to let you know if it was good.

Hello everyone
I am shocked how much I got done in the garage today. Hopefully I can walk tomorrow. Lol
I started putting stuff away where the furniture was. Looks wonderful and so organized so far. Finding stuff to donate and throwing away some stuff. Furniture is all lined up ready to go. Our daughters will be thrilled to see the garage emptying out. I know I am thrilled.
Tomorrow I hope to finish what I have stacked to go through and clear the mess that is there right now. We can still get the car in garage tonight. Glad we have one car right now and have room to keep furniture in there ready for pickup. Good timing.
Betty- you did get a lot done. Hope you enjoy tonight.

Great job, Mar.
after dog walk and laundry and finally putting lights on a shrub by the gate on the other side of house front…using eaves plug on a switch inside , long cord and duct taping it down over the sidewalk by the side of the garage, Got the tree up. I just cannot do a 7 foot tree anymore. One foot less and I could reach, but standing in stool even one with a long handle is not working. DH grumbles and helps set up the three pieces and then leaves me with the job…never helped after first year married. Now he cannot with tremor.
he vacuums after..lot of little gold bits from the strings of tinsel i use to outline the tree….very old fashioned. By the time he finished the machine smelled of burning. So it and I sent out to patio to empty, clean and put in a new belt. He offered on the belt, but with tremor he would never manage the hard stretch while getting it exactly into the right groove.

I am stuffed. Ate til I was full and brought home enough for at least 2 more meals. It was definitely the most fun and best food I've had for a long time. Cooking is done right in front of you and the guy is so funny. Not fond of the sake but it's part of the experience I guess. I ordered the chicken and shrimp plus it comes with soup, salad, rice, noodles and veggies. Told DS I wanted to go back for my birthday in February. DS did a toast to Dad. Not sure he would have enjoyed the whole thing but he would have liked the food. Think the sake made me tired.
