Hi challengers. I did get responses from Betty and Trish. Still considering this round. Today is actually Karen's birthday.
QOTD: What is your typical lunch? Do you eat 3 meals a day? Does your schedule change on the weekends?
AOTD: Our breakfast is typically late morning, (I'm enjoying sleeping in), then my go to lunch is a slice of whole wheat toast with reduced fat cheese, cherry tomatoes and fruit. We then have an early dinner.
Have a great day everyone!

What is your typical lunch? * It varies...usually some form of carb/protein/fat with veg and/or fruit SO - baked potato topped with labne & crumbled blue cheese with sliced tomato on the side OR with tuna and nonfat cheese (tuna patty melt) with veg on the side - burger on bun or on bulgur with salad - salad with beans and pasta - bulgur mixed with garbanzo beans, labne, garlic, mint & cucumber with tsp olive oil - pasta with...something
Do you eat 3 meals a day? Usually - and sometimes snacks, too
Does your schedule change on the weekends? Not really...we don't have 9-5 jobs so our days are much one like the other.

1. Lunch - usually a combo of items at work from whatever the menu is for that day. That means sometimes I'm eating more of snack at lunchtime. OK, take a step back. With my work schedule, it's hard to label the times that I eat with the common mealtime designations. If the planned menu at work has a main dish that works reasonably on plan, I'll eat that along with fruit and vegetable, if not, I might just have vegetables or such and eat more later when I get home.
2. 3 meals - More. I usually eat really early morning, then around 8 or 9 AM, then 1:00 PM, maybe again between 1:00 & 5:00 (depending on what I had at school at 1:00) and then sometime between 5:00 and 6:30. Hmm, guess that's not as bad as I thought.
3. Weekends - more of what I'd think of as a typical meal schedule - breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, snack - maybe, depends what's happening for supper, supper, maybe something later, again, depending on what and when for supper.

Lunch is always my hardest meal of the day. I don't want to cook something...I don't want what I have (I sound like a l0 year old don't I) Sometimes it is a grilled cheese sandwich using LF cheese and light English muffin; sometimes an omelet I am trying to change this because I am never satisfied and it leads to afternoon snacking I am never hungry between breakfast and lunch
Eat breakfast around 8:00 am; lunch 12:00-1:00 dinner 6:00 Have pretty much conquered the evening snacking but it is the afternoon.....sigh Marie

Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before but often involving a salad. I do eat 3 meals a day, breakfast about 9, lunch around 1 or 1:30, dinner about 7. Sometimes I have an afternoon snack, depending on what lunch was, and sometimes a snack around 10:00 pm. Not much changes on the weekend, although I do have a couple of drinks, beer or wine, over the weekend.

Lunch is usually a sandwich (yesterday it was tuna), maybe a yogurt. Sometimes I have left-overs from the night before.
I generally am not a big snacker, sometimes I will have a piece of fruit before dinner if I am really hungry.
Since we don't work any longer, we usually don't eat breakfast until about 8 am, lunch about 1 pm, dinner about 6 or so. This usually does change a little over the weekend. Tonight, we are eating out after Mass, I am trying to eat very light all day to allow myself to enjoy dinner. It is a Japanese restaurant. I sure do like the yum-yum sauce. I am sure it is full of sugar (that's why it tastes so good). I always order a large order of the stir-fried vegetables with steamed rice. I also have a cup of the hot & sour soup & of course, the yum yum sauce over my food. On Sundays, we often have the SF pancakes for breakfast & then our main meal about 2 pm, then just a very light snack at night.
