Good morning! I slept well, woke easily and am looking forward to the day ahead. We bought groceries and produce now need to figure out what to make for meals. I have fruit so am thinking a fruit salad to eat over the next few days might be good (apple, strawberries, banana & kiwi). We have lovely lettuces so will clean those and store for salads. BUT what to serve for the protein and carb? Mystery to be decided soon Perhaps baked potatoes or sandwiches or??? I walked yesterday - 50 minutes - took on quite a bit of color bordering on sunburn - need to decide if walking earlier or wearing a hat and shirt is a better idea. CHERRY: I have never tried to can salsa...have heard it is tricky. Do you have a good recipe? I bought a "gripper" type thing that has rubber inside that helps with opening jars...and another thing for disposable jars that kind of lifts the edge and pops the seal. BEVERLY: Too bad you can't take your dog with you to Florida! Ah well...if the kennel is nice it might be like being at camp for your dog and a fun time for all of you. I know you had fun with your grandson! PAM: Did it snow there? What kind of pasta did you prepare for your sister and her sister-in-law? LYNN: Sounds like a crazy day with the test and confirmation and all the rest! Glad it is behind you and hope this weekend will give you a chance to rest.

Good morning. Cathy, I do have a recipe that I have used for quite a long time. The trickiest part of making salsa is trying to get the amount of spiciness I like without it being too hot or too mild.
Yesterday I got my shelves lined and part of the stuff put back. Everything takes longer than I anticipate so I did not get to the seed starting. Today is the day. It will be the major project.
It looks like it will be a fairly nice day today, mostly sunny, no wind at the moment, 38 degrees with a high of about 63.
Have a great day, beaches.

Morning Beaches, Very hot & humid here today. It is supposed to be around 90!! Thank goodness for air conditioning. They are running a marathon in Nashville today, they are going to need lots of water. I pray everyone is safe & noone gets too hot. GS spent the night with us last night. He wanted McDonald's for dinner!!! I got him what he wanted at McDonalds & got Subway for DH & myself. His dad has already picked him up this morning. We watched the hockey game last night & enjoyed his visit as always. Today I am just planning on a little straightening up & start getting things ready for our trip to FL next week. Too hot to do much of anything outside. Mass this afternoon & eating out afterward. Great weekend all!

Sitting under my throw watching the snow coming down. Luckily no reason to leave the house. I stocked the refrigerator and pantry yesterday so lots of healthy eating options. I also have a good book, so set for the day. Keep smiling everyone!

Wow, snow Pam..it was 87 here today. We just got back from church. I spent the day still rounding up my winter clothes...phew.
Tomorrow we have someone over to help DH with chores and we have to plant five rose bushes we purchased for our back yard.
Stay warm and cool my Beachy friends!!
