Hello Everyone Ginny - I'm glad you got the painting done and hopefully can get to work on the floors this coming week. Ruth - That puppy filet crochet piece is cute! All your other projects sound so nice too. Sue - I'm sorry you continue to have problems with getting good people to help you care for your husband, I hope you can find someone soon. I'm also sorry to hear about the increase in covid cases in your county. I remember how that felt in 2020 when the county I live in had the most covid cases in the state (and we still do). Phyl - Hope you are feeling well. Thanks to all for the kind words about my quilt tops, I appreciate them It was mild here again today, in the low 60s but cloudy. We're supposed to get snow overnight and temps only in the 30s tomorrow - a drastic change. I'm hoping we won't get the high amount that some are forecasting and also maybe since the ground has to be very warm, that it will melt quickly. I haven't been able to get to any quilting or embroidery the past few days, maybe this coming week. The new Pat Sloan quilt along starts on Wednesday. I have my fabric, but I'm not really feeling like participating right now. I will though, since I really like the layout for this quilt and often I don't care for some of the layouts. Here's a link to the new one that starts this week: www.ilovetomakequilts.com/sweet-dreams.html - scroll down to see a picture of the layout Take care everyone

Sue, well lets pray that you are able to find someone who can assist you- someone who is vaccinated and has less personal issues. I totally agree that you do not need more complications in your life. Omicron does not seem to be too serious an illness, if you have been vaccinated. But why deal with if if you do not have to? In my area there is also a high positivity rate. Its a very good idea to simplify what your needs are….so that you can get the help you need. One day at a time…hang in there.
Ruth, that crochet fillet puppy afghan is adorable !! (She even says a basic crochetter like myself can do it- ha ha ha). I am sure you will work something out to go with that turquoise yarn…and I am equally sure it will be adorable when its done.
Did a tiny bit of touch up painting today and pushed the furniture aside so that i can start working on the carpet. Its Sunday- so I do not want to take on anything big, as in a lot of work.
Got stuck on the phone with a friend…which took my crochet time. But I am gonna sit down now to crochet. And catch up with y’all tomorrow. Ginny

CJ- that sure does look like an adorable quilt!! (I admit, I do not like all Pat Sloan designs but this one is adorable.). Print out the layout for when you are feeling inspired!!! And the temperature is starting to drop like a rock here….10 degrees in the past hour or so….. G
