Happy New Year!! Let's start off the new year right with realistic goals and most of all giving ourselves the gift of respect, kindness and forgiveness! We can be so harsh with ourselves, heaping on the abuse that we'd never do to the people we care about. Time to forgive and treat ourselves better. It's much easier to stick to your goals when you feel good about yourself! Together we will help each other find the new you waiting to blossom and dazzle! WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too! Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here. This challenge runs the month of January 2022. Hello! So this year my plan is to reach my healthy weight by my birthday (June 14th) and then decide if I'd like to trim off another 10-20 pounds. My healthy weight would be 140-145. And on my journey, treat myself with kindness and respect.
TEN things I like about myself: 1)I am friendly and respectful of service workers 2)I try to help people 3)I try to always be there for my kids and friends 4)I like my large eyes 5)I like my strong legs 6)I like my soft hair 7)I appreciate the natural beauty around me 8)I have a good ear for music 9)I am very artistic 10)I'm really good with numbers
This feels weird but we need to appreciate ourselves!

Good morning! Sigh. Since omicron has now affected the son of one friend and the granddaughter of another (both adults), I've decided to skip the gym for now and work out at home until the positive numbers come down. But I'm lucky, I do have my own TM, plus a glider and plenty of hand weights and an excellent stretching area plus Susan has a weight bench in her room!
A new year, a fresh start -one day at a time!

Januarry 3 I started over I need to lose 70 pounds in 2022. I am eating 6 packs of oatmeal and then 6 cups of lite apple sauce I am going to pay off 2 credit cards in one year. I refused to take a loan. n 9 months one credit card will be paid off. Then the last 3 months IO will pay more to the other. My brother adds 85 a month for a year. to one. I will have the build payed off the second at the end of the 9th month also. Bit O I am paying for 8 months my own para transit 2 books of tickets and 100 to the taxi account . these will last through August. I am paying from Stable my rent and utility. that will allow me to pay rent in December when my new rent starts. Next year ˆwill ask for just rent payed from stable.

My goal this year is to get back to an exercise PLAN--not just to occasionally move when I think about it Ten things I like about me? 1) I try to help animals 2) I like my hair,, even though I color it. 3) I love that I still want to go to work, even though I am at retirement age 4) I love that I am almost always cheerful , especially when I get up in the morning. 5) I am still a trusting individual 6) I love trivia and movies 7) I love to travel and am fascinated by new places and people 8) I am not the Imelda Marcos of purses(she collected shoes) but I love purses, cheap but nice ones 9) I love learning. I could be a professional student 10) I love the outdoors and plan to spend more of my time out there this year

I started my new year off in a healthy way. I got my colonoscopy done and it was good.
I PLAN to go to Planet Fitness tonight for orientation with my DIL Kristen!
I see that today is fruit and vegetables so I can do that!

Good morning Mo and happy new year! I love your 10 items! You have such a good attitude, I'd like it to rub off on me. Good for you getting your colonoscopy taken care of -I've received paperwork and need to get mine taken care of. It's nice your DIL will go to the gym with you -I've been trying to find someone to join me but without luck.
I didn't work out yesterday but did a good job with my diet plus washed my face last night and this morning. I've gotten lazy about personal care, not really caring (except for my teeth) and I think that is a bad sign. So one of my goals is to take better care of myself.
Amy, I'd like to lose 70 pounds this year although my first goal is 40 pounds then another 10 and then the last 20 twenty depending on how I feel. WTG having a plan to deal with your debt!

I may need 13 months depending on how low intgerest goes. in December I get new rent based on 12022 income. So I figur it will go up since my SSA did. I just sent a check to QVC to pay for an oven for the counter. Scott bought something similar. they would not let me pay it with them so I just put a check in Maile to pay the entire oven off this month. Next month I will have more money to go to Post office and pay for another passport card . I hope I get my 2 birth certificates I ordered by next month and my original back, from the state department whine was supposed to b e 10 days after getting the card which I now can't find. but they never did. I bought 2 from New York City where I was born but they use vital check and I hope they send me 2 which I paid for.

Good morning!
I didn't walk Monday but made up for it some by walking 4 miles on the TM yesterday. I've started some weight lifting with hand weights, more to do there plus walking and I really need to be better about stretching!

I applied for a pass plan with Social security to allow me to use my social security to pay for tuition books paper and print cartridges.. I applied for fall but asked my disability liaison to register me for 2 things in the program for January 18 starting semester. Mathematical reasoning is required then I hope to take Diversity studies. they are online live the math Tuesday and Thursday for 3 hours each. The diversity claws Wednesday at 1 for I think 1 hour. I hope Anna will tell them to register me. I will ask my trust to pay for the 2 classes. And in summer I want to0 take written communication. There are 2 internships in the 3rd and 4th semester. In fall I would take 12 credits then sp[ring semester the first year 15 then 12 the third semester including an internship;. Then 9 credits the fourth semester with an internship that semester too.. I got transfer credit for Psychology and sociology. I hope she lets me take these 2 classes and then summer one class. hope the Pass will be approved. I did iogt online and printed it and faxed to Social Security and DVR on the west side where I want to go so much closer than the east side one.
