Nothing much to report. Taking today off from walking and will walk tomorrow and Tuesday. Hubby is out visiting someone and later today we will be talking to grandchildren. Just a lazy Sunday for me...as are many days CHERRY: Sounds like the weather is improving. I am sure your basement shelves are gorgeous with new lining paper Here's to getting those seeds planted today! BEVERLY: I do envy you the time you get to spend with your grandson! PAM: Love the visual of you reading under a throw BUT don't know how I feel about it snowing when it is nearly May! LYNN: What color are the roses you bought? Hubby is taking cuttings and putting them EVERYWHERE in the garden...or so it seems

Good morning. I got some seeds started yesterday but not all of them. Today I'll be doing more. I'm almost to the time limit for starting things ahead of time as some need to be ready to be planted in their pots by the last week of May. There's a lot of flowers that I'll need to buy because the time passed for getting them started.
It looks like it will be a nice day today, it is sunny, no wind right now, and the high is supposed to be around 67. Right now it is 30. Most of the rest of the week it won't be quite as nice.
Have a nice day, beaches.

Good morning dear beaches, Weather is still quite warm here. they are calling for rain today, but sofar it hasn't started. I am planning on cranking up the grill shortly. (it is under a covered porch, so the rain doesn't bother me unless it is really windy.) I will cook some chicken & pork chops, baked potatoes, & I am going to cut up a salad. I just began craving salad yesterday!! For whatever reason, I haven't wanted it for a while, then all of a sudden, it started sounding very good. Stopped at the store last nite & got lettuce, cucumber & tomatoes. I really have very few plans for today, just hanging around the house, I may do my hair color (I'm not a true blonde) lol. Cathy, how does your DH root the rose cuttings? We put a branch from the bush under the ground in the winter, we leave a tad sticking out. In the spring, we cut it away from the mother plant & it has roots. This is how we get a new bush started. I've always wished I could find an easier way. Someone said they stick them in a potato? I had an aunt that could root them just from a single rose, I don't know how she did it. Great Sunday all.
