I kept watching it for the sets mainly, which are amazing. Plot-wise so much of it moves at a glacial pace. Things picked up during the last two episodes. I found House of The Dragon more engaging. DH having a hard time with all the childbirth. Of course he's peachy keen with the violence. Men.

Just watched The Good Nurse on netflix, based on a real nurse that was a serial killer. It was very well acted, I enjoyed it more than Ron did (not enough action and no car chases I guess lol)

We watched an interesting 4-episode series on Netflix. "Inside Man" stars Stanley Tucci & David Tennant. Some scenes were unbelievable ("call the cops"!) but the series keeps you guessing and is very entertaining. If you do watch it, be sure to watch the credits for a surprise final scene that adds a twist to the story.

I just finished up "Bad Sisters" on Apple TV - it was very good. Just waiting for Saturday night on HBO Max to see the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony from this past Saturday. I'm such the Duran Duran Fan Girl

linda72, thanks for the recommendation. We watched the first 2 episodes and it's so interesting! Love Stanley Tucci & David Tennant. I could see a series based on Tucci and his cell mate "death row detective" would be a great title (the reporter said that phrase) lol

I could see a series based on Tucci and his cell mate "death row detective" YES! DH mentioned that also. They were so good together, although it hardly seems like Stanley T. would be around for further episodes if his sentence is carried out. Of course, we never learned about his wife's death and where her head is! LOL!

I've only seen the first episode. Liked it so much, saving it for Friday pizza nights and will watch a week at a time. How about a spoiler alert in the future for those of us who haven't seen the whole thing, pretty please? Although, to be fair, not much was spoiled. But I will be distracted thinking about the wife's head for the rest of the series.

I agree, Mariel, the Crown has been disappointing so far. Former Prime Minister John Major just criticized it, saying the whole thing with Prince Charles talking to him about taking the crown from the Queen is pure fiction.

Finished watching "The Serpent Queen" on STARZ. Very good.
Now I'm enjoying my somewhat guilty pleasures of Survivor and Amazing Race.

Was this the last season of The Crown? I was disappointed. I know they posted that they did a lot of "heavy editing" after the Queens death, but it seems so unfinished.

DotRen, there is a final season scheduled that will cover William and Harry becoming adults. I think this current season is doing poorly; I've only watched the first episode and find the actress playing Diana is overdoing the down cast look Diana did. It made it look like she had a physical impediment and couldn't lift her head. Surely she didn't have that head down look all the time, did she?
